Hey dudes Jimmy here from Autobot City, been a while but I thought I might ask this, will any of you guys be purchasing the TF4 toys, especially now that we might not even see Bee nor Prime in TF4. Now considering what Hasbro ended up doing to the TF3 line, cheapening out on quality, not releasing every character, cancelling the later part of the line left and right, and considering the amount of extra cash I put out to go the Takara route to try and complete as much of the TF3 as possible....I might be reconsidering....but I went all out on the TF3 line not just because I swore to get every film toy but because my family and I were involved with the Dark of the Moon film right here in Chicago, so even though it cost a little more I am glad I did regardless of how the toys looked  I had a blast being involved with the film but it was a nightmare trying to get the toys, so the question is this....

Do I want to relive the TF3 toy line again hunting them down???

Not sure dudes but if Hasbro is going to end up doing the same thing with this line I just might pass it up, then again they might learn from their mistakes(highly doubt it) and they might release an amazing line.......what do you guys think?????

 

Will I be buying them? F#$* no. I hate the movie designs.

But hey it's cool those fans have something to look forward to.

 

If they're good, yes. I didn't buy most of the shit from DOTM cause the toys looked so terrible.

Most likely yes but I'll have to see them. I enjoyed the DOTM line but I must admit, it was the low point of the three movies in terms of toys. Wasn't terribad but wasn't as good as the previous two. Most likely though, it's gonna be a yes unless they really screw it up bad.

 

not a chance unless they redo the designs so far from the last three that they look nothing like it,

 

If DotM and my current feelings about the first two movies are any indication, I might buy a couple of the leader class figures and probably (if they have it) Human Alliance or the TF4 equivelant.

Outside of that, only really, really, really good figures. But even those are questionable since I look on the similar figures from the previous movies with regret.

 

I felt very disappointed with DOTM as a whole, and unless TF4 really WOWs me with the toys, I'll just be skipping the line. I'm sure there will be two or three I'd like to get, but I'm just so focused on Classics, now that I'm almost done getting Vehicons from Prime RID. I think once Prime Ironhide hits, I'll be completely done with Prime and any other non-Classics/WfC/FoC Transformers.

 

Probably just the new characters. That's what I did with DOTM and it cost me a lot seeing as how most the new characters I really wanted weren't released here in the US.

If they are quality...why not? Maybe this time the toys won't be bogged down by gimmicks, lack of any sort of paint, regression, and poor design choices.

Bonus points if Bumblebee and Optimus only clog half the pegs, the featured cast gets actual toys, and waves 4 and beyond aren't canceled to oblivion because of retailer overstock.

I can't wait to see how this one goes.

 

Considering that I've grown tired of the movieverse lines, there's a great chance I'll be skipping it. But who knows, Hasbro might surprise us all...

 

Every movie line seems to have a gem or two I must own. If TF4 follows this trend then I'll most likely end up with at least a few.

 

I'll get the new characters, and old ones if they are better representations of the characters. I will say that I am a fan of the movie line, but got a bit suckered in buying two of most Autobots for my eventual master display. I enjoy things from each different "universe" and the movie line is no exception. Unless my mind is blown, I probably don't need another BB, or Optimus, but I will continue to round out this universe. I will definitely be buying any new HA mold they throw our way. For me, it is kind of nice having real-life vehicles.
