    Here is my second repaint/retool.
As you can see from my first project and now this one, I like the Sunstreaker/Sideswipe mould.
It’s a repainted Sunstreaker with a retooled head to make it look like a cross between the two brothers.
I was originally going for a G2 Sideswipe, but decided to use Titanium paint and it looked more like a new character.
    I will call him…………Shadowstreak.
Maybe he’s a long lost Lambo brother or something.

Excellent job. The colour gives a great "real world" feel to the car mode too.

    Thanks!
The paint is Testors Model Master Metalizer Enamel Titanium spray and about five light coats of clear.

Shadowstreak, I like it. The paint is badass, the look of him in bot mode and vehicle mode is badass. Okay everything about him is badass, so great job.

Very nice paintjob, and I love the head mod! I would have just removed the horns, but cuttting them down to smaller forms works even better.

Glad to finally see a topic made for this guy. He looks really good man. You can see a bit of yellow here and there in the pics but otherwise the paint looks really clean and just pops nicely. I love the color of this guy

In retrospect, I should have used Side Swipe for the repaint. Any bit of yellow really sticks out. I didn't even notice until you pointed it out. I really see it in the picture with the flash in robot mode.:banghead:

Yeah that always happens to me when I check out the pics I've taken. I always see flaws after I feel like I'm done. In all honesty if it's for your own collection it shouldn't matter much

the paint job looks factory, only better!

i'd like to see some more detail painting on the robot parts (arms, legs, gun) though. the white plastic pops out from the rest of the nicely painted figure.

I thought about that, but I wanted him to fit in with the rest of my non-customized classics figures. I'm sure some day I'll probably end up adding details to ALL of my classics figures and then I can detail his robotic parts as well. In person, it's the grey plastic from Sunstreaker so it doesn't stand out as much.
