I'm pretty sure that's just a tracking number and nothing's actually in play yet, unless what you received says the package has been accepted and processed. If so please clarify here because if someone is actually shipping Ratchet sets I'm sure we'd all like to know.

 

Just received my shipping info also from Uncle Billy but via his EBay account johosontony for both Ironhide and Ratchet kit.

 

On Ebay both sets are listed as In transit

According the the tracking numbers used on my local post office:

My Ironhide set is listed as "Received by overseas carrier"

My Ratchet set is "Despatched: Processed through facility"

Really hope these sets are the non defective ones, or I think I'll cry after dealing with the issue with the last seller.

 

Ratchet was the only one that had issues. Ironhide was good right off the bat. Sorry if I missed it, who did you order from?

Glad to hear Ironhide was good. I downloaded a comparison I found in this thread though so I'll know if either set is defective before opening them.

 

Yeah the Ironhides had the right shape so the doors could slide in and out (there was a peg shape issue on Ratchet). I would hope by now most of anyone selling these has the newer ones so you should be ok  

 

Are the colors off?

 

Colours are perfect, at least on mine.

Stripe alignment is a little hit and miss, plus there are a number of minor sculpt errors I highlighted earlier in the thread that only affect alt mode at close inspection.

 

I thought I read a comment the new second batch had the red and white slightly off.

 

Ah sorry not sure about that. I got first batch of Ratchet and fortunately avoided a bad one. Colour on that is perfect.

I have the KO versions of Ironhide and Ratchet, do you think these kits will work for them?

Have a search in the thread, but I'm 99% sure people have fit this to the KOs. Some may have needed some minor fettling.

You can get it for cheaper brand new shipped if you look in the TFW BST.

I believe these do fit the KO no problem. But with the KO's being like $35 or so, is it really worth spending $20 to get these for a KO? Probably better to just buy another KO and permanently remove the hips.. lol..

 

As far as the Ratchet kit goes, I wonder if TFSource's current copies are from the first run? Rather off how they have it available now and just about everyone else still has theirs on pre-order status.

I'll definitely be getting a set for my KO Ratchet.
