Yeap me too. It's equally as bad as the last one. Imagine people who bought the Shadow Commander upgrade after they were promised retooled heads, only to see the same quality.
ugh glue is needed thats a shame i was expecting scwers & plastic not glue needed still nice maybe one of the bs=est looking models ever but only models i put together are gundams nothing else oh well. maybe someone will make drift figure someday
I'll wait for the OFFICIAL one. There's been some kind of "speculation" about the REAL drift showing up on a particular thread here on TFW2005. I just didn't know where to start looking for that one...(The thread, I mean here, NOT this toy.)
Classics, it's a tad taller then Classics HotRod. And no, I just happened to be home for lunch and popped out the D60 for some quick shots, which I figured was better then taking them with the phone camera.
Couldn't believe someone still buy from sgcollect after they produre the very first JOKER COMMANDER FACE. And also have bad experience visting their forums. Not recommanded.
I'll second that! As a new TF collector I made a post about pricing and got insults from the regulars there.
Sorry to hear about that but that's one of the main reasons why I avoid that forum. The "no mentioning of price rule" is pretty lame IMO.
Just thought I'd postup this "DIY" found on the SG Collect site in case you get the DFT-001: BTW from the original 300 release figure, it was scaled back to 150 due to mold degradation.
Got mine today. Molding doesn't look that bad, but it will need some clean up, but I expected that since it is a resin kit. Much better molding than the City Commander head. Also mine is #83
Dude, a price war good because it ensures that the weaker retailers are weeded out and that we the collectors will be better served be it prices or services. I was there when the rule was implemented years ago...one store complained because of the discussion of price. Which I found ridiculous because it had a "monopoly" on the product it brought in. What is even more amazing is how is it possible to be sued for the mentioning of price?
well they were kinda limited as the first run looked good while the 2nd run looked like some one had put a blow torch to the mould My 2cents on this toy... I dunno honestly price to one side just from a design perspective I just don't think its up to much.
Looks okay and might look better when painted up. I am willing to give this a shot. As for SGCollect, well...that is something else to be taken offline or PMs whether we like or diss the forum.
ehh, looks good... but with the price and the quality of sg collects stuff(at least the one i got) im not gunna go for it. btw, isnt hasbro making a drift that looks like the comic for the movie line?if so i'll just get that one
Agree, price war is good for collectors so that the retailer can serve customers better. Wow sue is own memeber, first time I heard that. Is Sgcollect associate with SG retail shop?
At BotCon 2009 Hasbro did not confirm that they were making a Drift. They just showed teaser sketches of a possible Drift toy at the panel. Showing the sketches made a lot of people excited, but that does not mean it was guaranteed. I do not know if Hasbro showed the Drift stetches at San Diego ComicCon either. If anyone reading this was at the SDCC panel, could you answer if Hasbro showed Drift?
Hasbro's track record in the past few years. Anything other than an outright no, usually means its in the works. That's how I ve been seeing it.
