The Matrix sequels shouldn't exist, and same goes for the sequel to District 13 - its sequel totally ruined all the cool from the first.

 

I mean in the Stargate movie Ra really was the only alien system lord, last of his kind trope and all. His goons were all other Egyptian gods Anubis, Horus, etc. SG-1 ignored that and that Ra's goons were supposed to be other gods. One of the guys who made the Stargate movie even said he had though out a sequel where the humans fight more of Ra's human servants, Hathor and her ship. Highlander the series ignored that Connor won "the game" at the end of the movie.

When watching Expendables yesterday, they advertised yet another Saw movie. This time in, yep, you guessed it 3D.

 

I'm surprised there aren't more people. I cannot understand the absolute love people have for that movie considering how flawed and rehashed it is.

 

Yep. Though I actually wanna see the Resident Evil 3D. Looks like it could be cool.

I'm sorry, but I'll take more mindless macho carnage on this level anytime. Hell the fact that Stallone got so many stars in one movie makes me want to see what he's gonna do to one up himself next time.

Now what doesn't need a sequel is the upcoming Independence Day 2&3 and Men In Black 3. I like Will Smith, but these are totally unneeded sequels, and really have, the previous movies didn't leave the door open for em.

Batman Forever/Batman & Robin - if these never got made, WB would never have to reboot the whole Batman franchise. Thus, we never would have the Nolan/Bale Batmans. So yes, these sequels needed to be made.

Of course SUPERMAN 3 an 4 stank the director of the 1st and most of the second was fired and they replaced him with a comedy director. The first two were written by Mario(Godfather) Puzo. They also cut the budget drastically on 3 and 4 had 1/2 the budget of 3. 4 was made for like 17 mill.
