Septicon Warrior GUMP: scratch built based on movie concept art

Here's my second post since I've signed up today.
We've all seen the concept art for the movie, how badass Incinerator and Depth Charge were. But to me, nothing comes close to the sheer, raw awesomeness of Ben Procter's Septicon Warrior Gump.


Although he's non transformable, I did my best to make an accurate representation of Gump.

*The torso/toilet bowl and legs were made using parts from ROTF scout Reverb
*Arms came from a HG Gundam and hands from a MG Gundam Strike
*bazooka was a bic pen/MG Gundam Strike rifle.
*Everything else was cut by hand from styrene sheets. Many of the pieces were cut using thin and thicker sheets, glued together, and details cut out of the thinner top layer to give it depth/panel details.

Do you have any work in progress shots? i would love to see how this came together.
I love that this and the Heart scratchbuild are up at the same time.

 

I definitely do have work in progress pictures. The link is above in the original post to my photobucket album with all the pictures.
But a few details: Used Reverb (motorcycle); I hacked off the headlight assembly/front fairing and ground down the headlights/pointy front to make the bowl,
*Removed arms/ball joints, cut slots into swingarm/arm atachment area and pegged in Gundam arms,
*Added ball joints to back for rear wing pieces (with thrusters underneath... but you can't see them in the pictures),
*Used original Reverb pelvis/leg ball joints, added ball joint to pelvis and Gundam socket to torso to give waist articulation.
*Hands were made using 1/100 MG Gundam articulated hands (Modded to have 3 thick fingers instead of 5 regular ones).
*Gundam peg and socket joints with hinges were used for the fore arm shield plates, so they have a lot of articulation.
*Toilet lid is attached to front wheel socket, and head is ball jointed in. All armor/port-a-potty pieces were hand cut.

I have one that I won off Ebay that someone made out of TFTM Payload. Although mine transforms, your looks much better and more accurate.

Some poor soul who was in the port-o-potty when it transformed.

 

I was under the impression from the concept art, that the hand is some poor soul who was IN the port-o-potty when it transformed, and is now horribly mangled inside. So yeah, I think the hand sticking out should be human.

Otherwise, this is awesome, and gross, and awesome!!

Fantastic! Non-transformability is more than made up for with awesomeness! Colors and design are just perfect. I think you need a human hand in there though.
