I appreciate the input. If you could post a pic of this, it would probably effectively kill my interest in making this happen, or give me an idea on how to make it work.

Someone on 4chan mentioned how the wheels on the legs would be upside down too, which is another issue.

Because Legos for a front end would look terrible.

I think he means keep the stock front end? Could you do it with the stock front end?

I rather hope a 3P kit comes out to:

    - Remove/Change Orion Pax's vehicle mode to his original Cybertronian version.

    - Give Optimus Prime a separate, smaller, fully transformable OP figure to combine with the trailer to form PM Prime (plus Hi-q, guns etc).
    - A God-Bomber add on kit/figure, too.

    What a great idea!
Without a doubt, some third party manufacturer will latch unto this idea and come up with proper covers for this.
    Great job!

That’s really clever. Do yo think you could do a similar thing with Optimus primal? He could really use a fix like this.

From what it looks like, you just need to pop the pin out of the Primal and Prime parts. He's literally got Prime folded up on his back. Super simple.

Cheers. I’ve been thinking about getting but 1) I don’t know if it exists and B) The backpack really just lets it down.

And that doesn't solve the real problem, which is that Orion should transform into a "Cybrtronian car/truck". There's zero reason for Orion to become a COE Cab from America in the 80's.

And also if it's the same guy... then there's a reason they aren't displayed together.

I do like this figure, but my favorite Orion is still the Kup Remold from TR.

You're totally right. It would not make sense according to G1 original origin, but it would be cool to give him a proper transformation none-the-less.
I personally like this POTP Orion because it gives incredibly good homage to G1 design, but.. I have that remold TR Orion Pax, and so I do agree with
you about it, it's simply more likable, and is so great in its own way and well done.

I'm loving a lot of the G1'sh things that Hasbro has been releasing.
