Okay, before I start I want to let you all know that this is my opinion. If you don't think my opinion is correct, let's just agree to disagree. Just thought I'd put that out there since so many people hate Sentinel. Hey guys, I was watching Dark of the Moon the other day. I really tried to pay attention to the lines and what Sentinel said. I honestly think Sentinel was justified in his decisions ON EARTH. Here are my reasons. I don't think he intended to betray the Autobots at first. Yes, he attacked Optimus but he held off once he knew they weren't going to harm him. Sentinel tried to plea his case to Optimus. In Sentinel's eyes, Cybertron is the most important planet. It is their home and it is dying. He wants to save it at any cost. Optimus doesn't want to destroy Earth, but Sentinel still tries to make him understand. I quote "You're lucky I didn't kill you, In time you will see." When Optimus still won't betray Earth, Sentinel calls them "Rebels" He views Optimus' team as a bunch of bots who want to protect a planet while theirs is dying. Let put a scenario on the table. If Earth was dying, and there was another planet of lesser beings that coud save our planet. We would take that opportunity. They were desperate. All Sentinel and Megatron wanted to do was to save Cybertron at ANY cost. Even if people, Optimus, stood in their way. Thank you all for taking the time to listen to my opinion.
