What happened to this? Possible deleted scene? Or a scene that was scrapped for good?
If this was photoshopped, how come I never saw Sentinel standing by that debris with Optimus standing beside him?
It was probably edited by who ever deals with the images for the movie to hide the fact that Sentinel Prime was the true villain
Promotional smokescreen. Nothing more.
That is one way to put it yeah
Well, that makes sense.
Erm. Because it was photoshopped?
Or it's a render especially made for the article. Either way, it was never intended to be in the movie.
Sentinel looks mean as hell, so I assume the shot of him was from Chicago.
The sole purpose of this image is to keep fans in the dark about Sentinel's true colors within the film. Much like how early on, Bay stated that Shockwave will be the main villain.
It actually does look like 2 separate shots from the movie (the SP one especially) that were shopped to make it seem like they were in the same picture. Weirdly, I remember it being better than this. It actually looked seamless. But here, there are some pretty obvious ndicators that they don't quite match up.
Is that the debris where Sam and Dylan were fighting? Looks like its the same pattern (i'm talking about the stuff on the ground)
Don't seem 'em fighting side by side. Just standing side by side holding weapons, that's all.
It was just a promotional image to hide the fact of Sentinel's true nature as the main villain. A shot like this never happened in the film.
Its not photoshopped. Its a render done for the sole purpose of misinformation. You will find neither Optimus or Sentinel in these poses in the entire film.
Its not hard to render a single frame thats going to be used in a magazine. That alone means you can leave out a lot of details that slow down frame rendering. Just enough to render that a crafty Photoshop artist can put them in one of the Set photos Michael likely has on his computer somewhere.
Seriously Bay and that digital camera of his. If hes not talking to someone while hes out at events hes taking pictures and video.
And also...you know those covers on music magazines where there are a bunch of famous musicians close together on the cover?
They're usually not even in the same room with one another (or even the same city, state or continent even). Ah, the magic of Photoshop.
promotional photos and videos...every movie/tv shows does it
