after having fault with a 3rd rotf supes ive decided to send him back to hasbro instead of getting another one only to be disappointed again. ive contacted them and they have told me to send it to their address, but i was wondering if anyone else has had any similar experiences with contacting hasbro and what they are likely to do for me once they receive my figure and recognise the faults?

specifically hasbro UK but i dont know if there would be much difference

Hmmm... I picked up a Superion set on a whim this afternoon and it's rock solid. Sorry to hear about your problems tho... maybe you've been getting them from the same lemon batch?

I highly doubt itll make em think twice but if you dont want another take it back to the store so you know youll get your money back. with hasbro you can get anything back thats of equal value to Superion

I think it's an Argos exclusive. It's an exclusive over here in the US of A.

I don't have first hand knowledge but I have heard of a person sending Universe Inferno with a defect and receiving Universe Tread-Bolt back. You might be rolling the dice.

yah there have been some horror stories about people trying to ship stuff back to hasbro .. from them never getting it to never refunding money to getting a different figure back .. I'd say you should roll the dice on a 4th one rather than risk Hasbro customer service...

I've seen them in Sainsburys. Might just be that the Argos stores in your area got a dodgy batch. Maybe try a Sainsburys one first.
Defintely don't send it back to Hasbro though if you're hoping they'll do anything helpful for you. Y'know, I sorta think being crap at the returns is intentional so the don't have to deal with sorting out all those people with QC problems. Imagine if they replaced each dodgy figure they got sent with a decent version the same figure - they'd be swamped very quickly with people asking for exchanges. Much better to do a half-assed job so people don't bother hassling them once word gets aound.

Yes, I love conspiracy theories. ;)

What exactly was the problem? I know there's a couple assembly errors that can easily be fixed. Was it more than that?

The former is on my Superion, but easily avoided if you grip anywhere other than the cockpit (when combining, I always pull or push using the tab that locks the cockpit in vehicle mode to get Superion's head out).

As for the stress marks...where are they? My Slingshot/Airazor and Air Raid are both perfectly fine

on the 2nd one it was on my airrazor on the joint that the cockpit folds down on to reveal the head, on the other 2 it was on the joint that the leg is connnected to at the waist for getting to the connector hole
