From the pic we just saw, the trailer isn't shiny silver anymore.

 

First of all, absolutely love your avatar.. one of my favorite episodes of MST3K .

And second, if Hasbro wont add a second wave to the first box set, I wouldnt hold my breath for them to do it for this one.... I think Hasbro should of given it to Hasbrotoyshop who is usually good about having limits and enforcing them. Let BBTS have specials that are large runs.... not these limited run box sets just so scalpers can buy 100 of them , turn around and sell for 150 on ebay.

 

With metalhawk and gps, wasn't triggerhappy and misfire molded in mostly the same color plastic implying the majority of the mold is single color? Wouldn't that then imply metalhawk is painted gold?

 

So, most of us are thinking doom and gloom, some of us are hopeful, the rest don't care.

I don't know what to think... If I'll have to pay extra on eBay, might as well just buy it from RK and be done with it.

Tidal Wave is the only one I don\'t need, the rest is a must have. Much cheaper to get Ginrai this way than the Takara one (HLJ always get caught by customs).
Thunderwing is an odd one, without a helmet he is not very useful to be used with Black Shadow\'s body, and the face isn\'t large enough.

 

Wow, I'm surprised at how few changes Ginrai got. I would have figured a lot of differences, but aside from a few color changes (blue instead of grey and red crotch, Lack of Hi-Q coloring on the target master), they're practically the same.

 

I guess someone cancelled their order as there was one set in stock when I did my daily check today hoping for more to be available. Quickly pre-ordered and it is sold out again.

I know the initial prototype showed that Optimus had a much more vibrant red, similar to Takara's Ginrai, but I was still hoping that the red would turn out closer to Hasbro's earlier PM Optimus. I wanted to put the cab and chest plate from this new Optimus on the earlier PM Optimus release. I was also hoping that the new Titanmaster would look more like Hi-Q but it turned out looking even less like Hi-Q. Oh, well.

Glad I pre ordered it! Looking forward to this set, although hopefully BBTS gets more in for the rest of the folks that missed it.

I love how from stock photos to in hand we still don't see Tidal Wave in his jet mode  

Metalhawk is the one I wanted the most and he looks amazing. Still glad I skipped the first Hasbro release of Powermaster Prime cause this looks much closer and I didn't have to import the Legends release! Can't wait for my preorder to come in.

 

Maybe I'm just missing it, but I'm not seeing Prime's TM in the packaging picture. Where is it?

 

By process of elimination, I'm guessing it's already plugged into his port, under the helmet. I don't see anywhere else for him to be.

 

Considering how bad Broadside's jet mode looks, that might not be such a bad thing.  

 

There is a whooooooooooole lot of silver paint that didn't make it to the final product.  

 

I just want Pounce from this. Hopefully he ends up on eBay
