Why didn't you just preorder it anyway? They don't ask for money up front and it's easy to cancel if you can't get it.

They must not be making many of these sets, probably because of how many CW boxed got marked down to get rid of them.

That's gonna suck if the last two sets are sdcc and Hascon exclusives. (I hope NOT).

I know the release date says late July, but I'm betting these show up w/Trypticon. Just to make everyone more frustrated by two hot TF items landing at the same time and the warehouse getting super backed up

 

Because I'm an idiot and didn't think of that. Also, it was back up for preorder for a little this morning, but it sold out AGAIN before I could finish going through checkout. At this point, being able to swear loudly without disturbing anyone is a privilege I REALLY wish I had.

 

i expect some pre orders to cancel, so some should free up when released.

 

Well, I missed out, but I primarily just wanted Metalhawk and Thunderwing anyway. Besides, shipping from the US and indeed the exchange rate right now makes it stupidly unaffordable. It's a real shame, but if Metalhawk were available regularly, I'd buy him as soon as possible.

I do want the other three but I'm going to get the TakaraTomy God Ginrai set so I definitely don't need Prime, I'm hoping they'll do Tidal Wave/Shockwave, and I'd be surprised if they don't also do Pounce/Wingspan and Cloudraker/Fastlane.

Then there's that other boxset at Toys R Us which I'd also love but mainly just for Nautica and the Rodimus head.

Gah, exclusives suck, especially when they're limited to the US as they usually are. Then again, if they bring them out over here, they charge hundreds and hundreds of dollars so it's never worth it anyway.

They're nice sets; I'm just annoyed I can't buy some of the figures individually. Unless, you know, you want a $100 Nautica off of eBay. Hah.

I wasn't expecting the pre-order to sell out so soon and I didn't pull the trigger when I had the chance. I really want this set. BBTS TF exclusives typically are available for a while.

Hopefully, BBTS will have more in stock once they arrive. Titans Return seems to be selling well at most retail stores in the US. I don't know if supply is not meeting demand or if production and distribution is lagging behind. Hasbro may be stretching its resources thin in producing TLK, TR, and RID.

One thing is for sure, TR is a hot TF toyline.
