    So novelty mascot tennis isn't a real game, but novelty mascot fighting is?

    Well this reads like fanboy flame-bait. That said, I could give a shit who made this game, after spending some time with the demo, all I can say is meh. Another cash-in sports game featuring old news franchise characters. The minigames are neat, but seriously, how much mileage can you get out of a barebones tennis game?

    i'm guessing its one of those multiplayer party type games that is easy to pick up and play, but might also have enough depth to get competitive. having not played it, i can't say for sure.

    but i do like multiplayer games that anyone can play, as all i really have are virtua fighter, pro evo and doa, as well as some other fighting games. all of which are fairly hardcore and not noob friendly.

    if thats not your bag, fair do's.

    Sorry, I should have specified that it's for the PS3 version. There's been a demo on the PSN Store for about a week.

    The demo offerings have been really slim, lately. Only sports games, and very few at that have seen new demos in the last few months.

    Seriously though, Tails playing Virtua Cop with Tennis balls has sold me. I was going to pick up the 360 version of Bully next, but now this is the game to get.

    Play Superstars mode, the mini-games will teach you pretty much everything about the mechanics while you unlock precious acheivement points.
