I hope this makes its way to North American shores as well. I loved the PS2 collection that came out, but it was sorely lacking in Streets of Rage goodness.

Joe, did I ever tell you that you are beautiful for the news you bring.

I've been waiting for this since they released the Genesis collection on PS2 and PSP. In fact, that little gem has spent more time in my PSP than any other game.

Edit: Wishlist for Master System additions. Phantasy Star 1, Govellius, Kenseiden. I will be extremely happy with just those three. Go Sega!

Sounds great. I will most likely pick that up. 40 titles.. Wow imagine the sheer number of achievements for the 360! And I thought Orange box had a lot.

I really hope the arcade version of Golden Axe makes the cut. It's so much better than the home versions. The unlockable arcade games on the PS2 collection ranged from awesome (Zaxxon) to horrid (Altered Beast). Let's get it right this time Sega.

Arcade Golden Axe would be badass, and as a LONG time Space Harrier-lover, I would love the true arcade for that, and a soundtrack mode would be great. Seriously Genesis days still stand as my favorite gaming days. Please have Shining Force in there in glorious 720.

Not going to expect this, but wouldn't it be badass if they added online play for their multiplayer games?

Edit: Hey, was Gunstar Heroes published by Sega? I kow Treasure created it, but would it have a chance of being in the collection if Sega published it at the time?

I was selling some old CDs this week and I stumbled upon the SONIC BOOM music CD that came with my copy of Sonic CD.

I have Streets 2 on the 360 and I played it with Smash, chat and everything. Go SEGA!
