To me the Seekers were way better then the Sweeps, for many reasons. They had more personality, different attacks and abilities, they were smarter, and you could also tell the seekers apart, they were at least different colors. I don't understand why the sweeps were all made the same color as Scourge, if they were at least different colors Hasbro could have made repaints. Scourge was alright, I just really don't get what the point of the sweeps were. Also it seems like there is an endless supply of sweeps no matter how many are destroyed in a battle more come out of nowhere.

Weren't the sweeps made out of Insecticons? And with that, their cloning ability? Might explain why sweeps are endless, like Insecticons.

That's a good way to look at it, I never thought about it that way.

I always looked at it as the Seekers were actually individual Transformers of a similar type, whereas the Sweeps were little more than lesser copies of Scourge (kinda like the drones in BM, only with just a little independant thought).
Probably not canonic or whatever, but its how I like to look at it in my own little world. :)

Don't even think its fair to do a comparisson. Sweeps were always just mindless drones to me.

The Sweeps sucked then and they still suck now.

I'll always like the pre-movie seekers better, but it's mainly because I'm not a huge fan of Cyclonus and Scourge.

Seekers>Sweeps. I was one pissed off kid when they changed Thundercracker into the bearded dork Scourge.

Seekers FTW, beginning form design to personalities.

Well, Sweeps didn't have personality, though.

:lol  I think Scourge and the sweeps were the ugliest designed TFs ever made Alt mode and Robot mode.

    Seekers > Sweeps

Why would the Autobots be scared of something that sounds like a group of cleaning products (or Neilson ratings executives)? ;)

No question. I doubt you'd find many people in the TF fandom who would rank Sweeps over Seekers. Realistic F-15 alt modes, distinct personalities, and varied color schemes..... versus boringly identical jet-propelled bars of soap. No contest.

However, I do enjoy the concept of robots with facial hair. That's one thing the Sweeps have going for them. :)

Only think I really liked about the Sweeps was that they made great cannon fodder, rather than offing any more distinct characters I might've grown attached to.

the best seeker bit was when TC called screamer a geek in 'fire in the sky'.

skywarp was just...there. which is ironic in light of his talent for displacement.

All season three Decepticons (and most, if not all, Autobots) were ******ed. Therefor, the sweeps lose by defalt, as the season 1&2 'Cons were just bumblers. But even then got some stuff done.

Seekers, hands down. Individual characters and designs > Scourge and the Scourgettes.

    Give me Seekers any day.

Better toys, better characteristics and a different VA for each one
