An homage to the original "secret files" at the ends of the G1 cartoons, here is an updated G2 secret file on G2 Megatron narrated by yours truly, animated by blastardinc.

Woo! 'Bout time. Just fyi, I would like to use one of the more complicated-to-animate scripts and do them in computer-animation if that's cool with you? Hope you don't mind. I just know that I don't always write the easiest scenes to put together. ;)

I like it. We need more shorts like this.

Also I would like to congratulate on the narrator. He really pulled off Victor Carolli nicely. Much better that whoever narrated the WFC game.

Don't worry, guys, we're working on lots more G2 stuff. More short "Secret Files" and more episodes in the story. G2 never got the series it deserved, just a re-hashed G1 cartoon series with CG transitions... very disappointing even though I was very excited to see it back on the air again. The cartoons weren't even in order. They mixed all three seasons together and expected new fans to understand what was going on! None of the toys looked like the G1 cartoon because they were repaints... the whole thing must've been very confusing for kids new to Transformers.

That would be me and I thank you very much. :)

Ironically, that's exactly what we were going for! :D

    Very, very cool.

    [NERD]
    Wasn't G2 Megatron's cannon a rail gun though?
    [NERD]

    I don't really remember.
I guess he never made it into a cartoon so the cannon could be whatever it needed to be.

honestly, i have no clue. i just did the voice for it.

Season 4? You mean the Headmasters and whatnot?

Officially, our series picks straight between the last episode before the movie and the movie. We based our stories loosely on the never-aired episode Scramble City in conjunction with the G2 toys that never appeared in US cartoons. Some were in the Japanese cartoons. Originally, we were going to combine existing 2-D Japanese footage from the G2 cartoons overseas with new 2-D footage that Blastard Inc was going to produce. Then he and Paul Manning stumbled onto each other with this new way to make 3-D animation and the stories went in a different direction. Mainly because we were no longer limited to using existing animation and creating an English dub to match the action in the Japanese footage. Without that limitation, we could come up with whatever stories we wanted because we produced it ourselves. Blastard Inc and I collaborate on the writing and voices and Paul and Blastard Inc collaborate on the animation, models, and background models. Blastard does the music too.
