You are diffently not alone on that one but it looks unlikely. Believe it or not Beachcomber might be getting a toy which kinda surprised me also a certain autobot that is supreme.
I didn't like Animated much ... at first. I thought the designs were good as well as the mixture of movie inspiration and G1 inspiration. Now I wish I had liked it more in the beginning. Shame to see another Transformers series go.
Interesting...if Kickback and S250 don't have any connections, where do they get their information, whether they be rumors etc. ? What's the process for getting all of these information? Do they request interviews or do those people come to them?
I was thinking that since DJW keeps on saying "not in season three" instead of just a simple no we will never see *insert fan wanted robot here* in animated...I was thinking that EVENTUALLY there could be a season four, like when the movie is done or almost done or something like that...
Well I must note this is a friend of a friend so maybe news is mixed up I am just telling you what I heard but this was a while ago since update on characters so it does look unlikely but still possible.
I may be dubious of your source, but I'd happily take Beachcomber over Warpath. It's a way cooler design.
Well one because of this source I have had conversations with bay,cullen,and most of animated's cast I should also mention this is from a list awhile back with the animated constructicons and activators thundercracker as possibiltes for the future so its a possiblity omega probly won't be made but beachcomber still is likely.
Comics are always a possibility for finishing it off / continuing the series. There is chatter on "reputable" places like 4chan of a direct to DVD movie after season 3. Might be some truth to it. I'm checking it out... will report back.

I honestly think it will go to Season 4, they probably said they were canceling to increase to purchases.
I wouldn't mind a few movies direct to dvd actually...with Transwarped they've shown they can do a fantastic job with the extra time and it worked well for Futurama. Lets just ignore all the Disney stuff like Bambi 3...
4chan...reputable? *rubs forehead* I know you're kidding, but damn, don't use those two words in the same sentence... Anyway, Hasbro stated that 2010 is a non-movie year (from a Time Warner article). I wouldn't expect a straight-to-DVD movie.
