I went on TFwiki and they show yesterdays episode "Partners" as the final episode of the season, so season 1 is finished?

Now the real question is: do the "Darkness Rising" episodes count as part of the first season? Look at Animated's first season with the "Transform and Roll Out" three-parter.

If they do, then we have six episodes left. If they do not, then we have ELEVEN!

I am contemplating on whether that is good or not.

Good because we get more episodes.
Bad because this puts even more episodes between the shows airing and the toys.

On thing that's curious is that, unlike the other breaks, we don't even have the names of the next set of episodes. Usually they at least give us the names of one or two which would be enough to speculate on but this time they didn't.

I say, bring on the episodes! The only negative I see is having to buy a separate DVD (/Blu-Ray?) just for "Darkness Rising" instead of them coming with Season 1.

It's unfortunate, but I think Darkness Rising will probably be a separate DVD/Blu-Ray from season 1. If that is the case, the only advantage for us is that it will probably be released a good bit earlier than the season 1 DVD/Blu-Ray. For Animated, the DVD for Transform and Roll Out was released almost two months before the season 1 set.

Pretty sure "Darkness Rising" is considered part of the first season.

darkness rising is considered part of season one. Check tons of official sources, even on iTunes it's listed as the first 5 episodes. Granted, that's not a good standard, but there are dozens more sources that agree with it. So we have six episodes left. Which is making the wait for toys horrible. If we had eleven episodes I'd be granted 5more weeks of distraction but after season 1 ends, all i have to look forward to until toys comes out is stolen toy reviews :lol

Hah! Considering our friendly breaks, season 1 might as well end next year!

Just wondering if I'm the only person who got the season pass on iTunes?

Count me in as one of the "Darkness Rising could be separate from Season 1" group. Every time I've read anything about it, it's always been referenced to as a mini-series. Though considering how many occasional breaks there are between episodes, I doubt there's enough time to get eleven more episodes between now and the start of season 2.

That's not likely to happen, as Season 2 has already been confirmed to be starting up this year (Nov.28 if my memory is correct). They aren't going to start a new season if the previous one hasn't finished.
