Sorry if this was noted before... I was browsing the Animated site of CN (to see when the Dinobots will appear next) and to my surprise, the episode descriptions for the episodes after 13. has been removed.

    Cartoon Network's TF Animated site

So the last episode is No. 13, 'Headmaster', we do see the Dinobots again in 12., though.

Anyone saved the episode recaps, perchance?

Uhh nah I think they removed it for the sake of less spoiling.
Last time I checked the first season ended at episode twenty something.

    That's good news...

But I was thinking, JLU had 13 episode long seasons, and so did LOSH too.

I think it's just to lesson the spoiling of future episodes too. We've known for quite some time that seasone one would be 26 episodes plus the 3 episode premier, so I don't think that this changes anything.

According to David Kaye at Botcon, there's the 90 minute movie, and then two 13 episode seasons.

Personally I never cared about how long a season was as long as it was worth it. I'm fine with 13 episodes as long as they continue to be great episodes following the quality of 106 and the special...104 I wasn't too fond of but it was still good.

I'm counting the episodes until we get some Decipticons back, specifically Starscream, Blitzwing, and Soundwave's premier of course!!

13 seems to be the norm for a cartoon series latley.

I dont mind. Hopefully the DVD sets are priced like the Teen Titans($14.99!) a season.

Huh...I don't remember ever reading that anywhere, and it's the first time I've heard of anybody official saying that the seasons would be 13 episodes each.

It's also in the initial CN order like that. 2 seasons, 1 90 minute special.

Ive tried to say this but people naysay the seasons were put forth somewhere official I cant recall where but somewhere as the 3part movie plus 2 13 episode seasons with a possibility of a 3rd and 4th seasons.

Id love for it to be 26 episode seasons but im sticking with my theory that its 13 episode seasons and hope we get the 1-2 more than thinking they are 26 and being dissapointed if the 26 we already are getting is all we get.

It's just weird then, that Season 1. ends with 'Headmaster' - I always thought when I first read the synopsises that it'd end with the two-parter "Megatron rising".

Yeah I thought it would end with 16 as well but you know how silly networks can be, here in AU we didnt get the last 2 episodes of Heroes season 2 aired simply because our ratings season ended and so instead of showing the whole volume we have these 2 episodes in limbo the choices some of the execs make seem to be made by monkeys, probably of the same breed that thought airing animated months before releasing the toys was a good plan.

Does anyone know officially one way or the other that it is 26 or 13?

As others have said, it's 13 episodes per season. I wouldn't be surprised if the first 13 (season one) is staggered to finish sometime in May/June, and the other 13 (season 2) to start in the fall.

You're kidding, we're really not going to see Megatron's big return to power in this run? :(

Edit: CN's list has "Transform and Rollout" down as 3 seperate episodes so I think that won't be included in the season episode count.

As others have said the 90 minute special and two 13 episode seasons seems to be the most likley answer.

Further edit, TFW's own sypnosis thread seems to have the answers.

SPOILERS ahead if haven't already memorized the episode titles. ;)

    Premier
    01. Transform and Rollout pt 1
    02. Transform and Rollout pt 2
    03. Transform and Rollout pt 3

    Season 1
    04. Home Is Where the Spark Is
    05. Total Meltdown (AWOL)
    06. Blast From the Past
    07. Thrill of the Hunt
    08. Nanosec
    09. Along Came a Spider
    10. Sound and Fury
    11. Lost and Found
    12. Survival of the Fittest
    13. Headmaster
    14. Nature Calls
    15. Megatron Rising, Part One
    15. Megatron Rising, Part Two

    Season Two
    17. The Elite Guard
    18. Return of the Headmaster
    19. Mission Accomplished
    20. Garbage In, Garbage Out
    21. Velocity
    22. Rise of the Constructicons
    23. A Fistful of Energon
    24. S.U.V. - Society of Ultimate Villainy
    25. Autoboot Camp
    26. Black Friday
    27. Sari, No One's Home
    28. A Bridge Too Close, Part One
    28. A Bridge Too Close, Part Two

So if CN are ending this first run at "Headmaster" and not airing "Total Meltdown" then this season will only be nine episodes long, which is absurd.

    Episode 21. Velocity
Investigating a mysterious race car, Bumblebee gets involved with an illegal underground street racing circuit, which also captures the attention of the Decepticons.

This will most likely be Blurr or i'll eat my hat.

As for Arcee there are a few likely options:
1)Arcee is the traitor in episode 25. Autoboot Camp
On the trail of an escaped Autobot traitor, Bumblebee flashes back to a previous encounter with the traitor when he first met Bulkhead in Autobot Boot Camp.

2)She only appears in ratchets flashbacks in episode 07. Thrill of the Hunt
While Autobots encounter a mysterious muscle car creating havoc in Detroit, Ratchet keeps flashing back to his "tour of duty" in the Great Autobot-Decepticon Wars. (In which case they made an animation flub as the shots with her and Ratchet show him in his Earth mode).

3)The most likely the episode synopsis' simply do not allude to her character perhaps because her appearance is the twist in that episode.

There are 4 characters that we have heard about but dont have any real clues as to the context of their appearance Huffer, Arcee and Ironhide 1 of the 3 is likely the Autobot Traitor in Autoboot Camp episode, both Huffer who we havent seen at all and Ironhide who's faction emblem we havent seen could be members of the Elite Guard. The final character supposedly making an appearance is Shockwave who could simply be an addition to Megatrons forces in either:
Megatron Rising, Part One & Two OR A Bridge Too Close Part One and Two.

I dont see why people have these issues most of the cameo characters its fairly clear what episodes they appear and and as Ive put forth when its not then rather their appearance is the 'twist' of the episode or not enough of a focus to allude to their appearance in the synopsis.

Yes, I saw that but it doesn't make a lot of sense since they aired the premier as a special event and have already dropped an episode. As I said that only leaves 9 episodes before they either re-list the rest or go into re-runs.
