I know we've discussed when, if, there would be a TFPrime Season 1 set in HD. Well, while looking for toys today on the Hasbro website, I came across this listing...NOW let me point out, NO SHIP DATE YET...but the item listing (TFP01) and price is up ($69.99)...so yes TFP fans, Season 1 in HD will be coming out!! :D

EDIT: OH SNAP!! Looks like it is the Season Pass and Downloads :(

(Did a search didn't find another thread with this, but if duplicate, just delete)

That's the iTunes Season Pass, which is already available.

$70 for one season on Bluray is way to high, these are prices for digital downloads I believe.

    High Definition: Season Pass: $69.99 / Episode: $2.99 / Rental $0.99 Standard Definition: Season Pass: $45.99 / Episode $1.99 / Rental $0.99

Yes! Kudos to MPL for finding this!

It seems a bit much, but I guess it would be expensive if it was a whole season and it was on BluRay. BluRay ain't cheap these days. No siree.

You guys may be right, it did seem a bit high (but didn't spell out the single ep pricing) and an odd listing at that--also it didn't list the total episodes either.. works for me :thumb

I would totally be down for a season pass... If the Canadian iTunes had any kind of Transformers tv series at all. :(

I've been buying episodes in HD since November. News will be when it's announced on BluRay in 1080p.

Also, I don't mind spending 3 bucks every week for an HD Prime episode, but I will warn others. There are 720p and while they look good, they do not compare to, say, the blurays I have of Star Wars Clone Wars. You see some compression in dark scenes, and even in some of the light scenes. They look great on my iphone and ipad, but when I punch them to the TV, the look "ok."

The way I justified this is, Spending 70 bucks for a season pass back in November was ludicrous because the season hadn't even begun so I was spending 70 bucks for something I wouldn't fully see until Fall of 2011. Spending 3 bucks every Saturday that a new episode aired was not as painful, since it doesn't hurt the wallet on a monthly basis, and this show sometimes runs two episodes a month anyway.

I'll wait for a physical DVD/Blu-Ray of season 1. It's bound to happen.
