I had that rock tumbler. You had to leave it on overnight tumbling rocks. Drove my parents nuts. :D

My friend had that Voltron. I envied him.

I had the Fright Zone along with every toy in that pic.

And the USS Flagg is like the Fort Max of GI Joes....never had it, and still don't. I wanted it so bad, though.

Man, I remember pouring over those Sears catalogs for hours, mostly spent scanning the Transformers and action figures section. Sad thing is, I still want all those...

Wow, those catalog pics bring back memories. Wasn't into Joes enough to want the Flagg, but it was still an impressive toy, nonetheless.

In my youth, I was only able to convince my parents to get me 2 of the 5 Dinobots, and I had no older siblings. But that was real nice of his brother. I still want all five, but other things have take priority. Maybe I can look for them at next year's BotCon, if they ever announce the where's and when's.

I find the alt mode descriptions for the Dinobots very amusing. Grimlock as a dragon, Slag as a dog, and Swoop as a "bird plane." :lol

Here's a question for the ages. How many of you have actually seen a USS Flagg in person? I have, when I was 8. I remember it because it like huge TF's (such as Omega Supreme, Fort Max, Metroplex, Trypticon) was something I'd only ever seen in well the wish book. The thing was a f--king beast. If you were a none fat kid under 10 you could crawl in side the thing and be perfectly comfotable. The guy whom my dad went to see about a work thing (so glad I tagged along THAT day) kept it in his garage it was so huge.

I remember seeing the box for it at Toys R Us.
It seemed like it was bigger than I was.

I saw a Flagg at the Joe Con when it was in Minneapolis, in 2005? Anyway, it's a damn beast. It would have been bigger than anyone this side of Kevin Garnett.

I have a Voltron like that. No sword though.

Seven and a half feet long! That's how big the Flagg is. Beast is definitely the right word.

Yeah that tent is actually one of my holy grails for TF collecting. I actually had used this book to get most of my G1 oddities. :D

Man... TF's were pretty expensive back then!

That catalogue brings back some memories. I know for a fact I have a 199x Sears Catalogue hanging around somewhere, cuz it has G2 TFs in it.

I remember thinking the Sky Striker was huge and the Flagg could have three of them parked on it.

Think there will ever be a toy like that again?
