I once had a complete set of MISB Binaltechs from 1-22 with all the variations (number and color) and the exlcuives Bt-17 and BT-18. What do you think that would have gone for nowadays?

Tough to say, BF. As I've been selling things off recently, I've been putting a good deal of thought into what should be sold as a lot and what should be sold separately. Personally, I wouldn't choose to sell Masterpiece or Binaltech as a lot, as there are a good number of them that pull such strong prices individually, I'd hate to not capitalize on that.

Exactly what I was going to say. The four Smokescreens, the two Meisters, the two Prowls, Wheeljack and Laserwave on their own can easily get $100 each MISB. Selling them together compromises this to get someone to bite, fork out the dough and take all of them at once instead of bidding high on the individual figures they've been looking for. If someone does bite, they're going to get a bargain.

Consider the recent sealed Alternators lot, which averaged out to just $28 for each figure. That's $28 for MISB Swerve, $28 for MISB Camshaft, $28 for MISB Mirage, $28 for MISB Decepticharge, $28 for MISB Nemesis Prime. I'm not advocating gouging, but that's not realizing their actual value. $28 is Rollbar, not Swerve.

From the sounds of the listing, getting the best price for them is not such a priority for the seller due to their situation. But under normal circumstances, split them up.

That's a nice set, not as nice as mine. I am only missing Kiss Convoy and the 2nd Smokescreens. I have the #7 one since the Alternator was #8. I also only have one version of the 2nd version of Smokescreen, BT-07 and I forget which # I have. I think it's #2.

Very cool set to have though. If I were to ever sell mine I would do so individually since BT-17 commads a hefty price.

What's painfully ironic is his ebay ID. Life isn't always fair.

It's a very nice lot. If I wasn't focusing on G1 only, I'd be very interested.
