Is sdcc prime prime worth keeping boxed up unopened. Its a first addition and has a magnificent box its almost to good to open. I am trying to keep it sealed but the excelent figure inside wants me to rip it open. Im trying to hold of for the voyager but that's a long wait!

Open it! The box can pretty well stay completely intact if you want to put the figure back in later on.

I didn't open mine considering it's an exclusive. If a TF has an "exclusive" in the title I tend not to open it, but that's just me.

This. It'll still look amazing even if you open it.

I have the box opened to show the Matrix and the figure standing on top of it.

I needed my first taste of Prime Toys, couldn't help but open it.

It has a production run in the tens of thousands and it will be released in a few months at mass retail with from what I understand, the exact same deco. The figure will likely hold little to no value in the coming years (outside of the original retail price). Just open it, enjoy it, and if you want to display him in the package, it is completely collector friendly and you can put him back in if you choose to do so.
