Good luck finding it seperately from the gift set or Bruticus figures, or finding it at a Reasonable price I have yet to find either

Well, first I'd like to say, thank you for sharing... And secondly I'd like to say that today I have lost all faith in Hasbro; this thing looks like complete and utter shit. What the hell is going on with that lanky, ridiculously long arm. I know 4 year olds who could design a MUCH better combiner than this garbage. I might get it just for the sheer fact of being a completist, but they're definitely going to be displayed in their individual bot modes (and even those are questionable). Hopefully TFC or MT can just make their own versions of the FOC combiners and sell us those. I can't possibly see where ANY kind of add on set could help this awful excuse of a combiner AT ALL.

And again, thank you for sharing... You saved me some money in the long run.

EDIT: I also wanted to mention, I feel sorry for the scalpers on this one... After some more solid reviews are out on this guy, I don't see them selling like hotcakes so much (unless there is some sort of absolute hidden way of making him look acceptible). I forsee this badboy being marked down in about 6 months.

Couple of things about brute and this review.

    1) the reviewer did nothing to try to fix the lankiness. Other shots have shon it CAN be done.
    2) hard to compare this brute with the parts-forming FP bruticus. And that is a cool thing about the Hasbro one, zero parts-forming.
    3) Does he look a tad hollow and a bit flimsy? Yeah, unfortunately he does.
    4) Is a $100 too much? Possibly but IMHO $200 def is. $60 though is still a good price IMHO.

Yeah, I don't plan on having mine in combined move very much, but I like the individual figures & I like them as a team, so that's where the appeal is for me.

He just pulled it out of the box. I think brawl foot mode looks different it was flat to fit in the box.
If the sdcc is 60 I'm still getting it, if not then g2 off of amazon.

yeah i appreciate the review but look at the figure a bit first before reviewing. he didnt even know if the gun came off.

also the brawl foot is not even transformed. the turrets come out forward and there is a panel that flips down to make it stable.

Haha, agreed. And the one mode I very rarely display my TFs in is the Vehicle mode -.-'
Such a shame. This combiner had so much potential and Hasbro pretty much wasted it. I guess i'll be getting these when they're on clearance then :p

Now to wait for the inevitable 3rd Party add ons to fix this guy....

Thanks for posting these reviews man :)

Personally, I think the combined mode is...alright, it could've been worse but could've been a helluva lot better! Bit of a let-down to say the least. I mean, what happened to all the gold paint (particularly on blast-Off), let alone the actual moulds and engineering itself!?
Like you said, hopefully FP or another 3rd party company'll try and improve the piece in some way.

Is there no way to improve that Blast-Off arm? That's what's really killing the aesthetic for me. The Vortex arm isn't that great and misproportioned to begin with, but in comparison to the Blast-Off arm, it's fantastic.

    I appreciate the review, thanks!

However, I am looking forward to a pictorial review of this set once those who bought it have had a chance to spend some more time with it. There has to be a way to get the arms to be an even length.

I'm really surprised Optibotimus or Vangelus or Peaugh haven't done a review yet.
