especially since the SDCC version would retail for $25-30 and to get the TFCC version you have to buy a $300 set. Seems it would cheapen the BotCon set. I am also in the camp that was hoping that Hasbro would keep the faint pulse of the Alt line going at SDCC.
If they could go a more evil striping like I see on a lot of cabs these days, it would make a sweet Nemesis Prime. They should rename the character Nova Prime, btw. I'm sick of the name Nemesis.
This looks like satire to me. The preorder text isn't a link, it's a two-second photoshop job, and it's even MORE black than all the other recent SDCC exclusives. My general rule here is that if something would be funny if it were a joke, it's a joke.
So many people thought Rumble and Ravage were the last alternators until Rodimus. People thought that Hasbro Starscream was a fake. When a member first described the botcon exclusive set, almost no one believed him. I'm opened to and excited about the possibility!
I have the Alternators Nemesis... I went crazy enough finding him at a decent price. Plus this year's Botcon set has an evil Prime. Cool, but pass.
Same here. Of course if this IS legit, I WILL own him regardless of the price. I've wanted a Nemesis repaint of this mold since day 1, nothing short of complete poverty will stop me from acquiring one.
I hope it's true. An exclusive I want at a convention I'm actually GOING to? Why are his knees misassembled?
I'll bite. This is a great mold that would look fantastic with Scourges deco. Nemesis or not, I have a LOAD of energon weapons for him to wield.
If true I would definately pick this up, I am a sucker for Nemesis Primes. Also would save me some money from trying to pick up this years Botcon set, which I am not really feeling, because I only need one evil Prime in my Classics collection. I am also hoping for another exclusive Alt too...hopefully the Honda Civic mold in blue as Frenzy (or Rumble if that is your preference).
I fully expect to NOT be able to get this easily, so of course I'll be trying to keep an eye on the online stores for this guy.
Unless this sits in the same place Tit Menasor did last year, I'd be surprised if it's real. I fully expect the "main" exclusive to be an Alternators version of Autorooper.
