    Usually sold out for show means they are sold out for the show which is pretty normal. Most of the more popular items and the big items usually sell out by Friday afternoon. They always have some for the online sale.

    You can quickly find the answer to this question by running a search on Ebay. Short answer: yes...a lot of people.

    I wonder how long the price for this guy will stay high. Is demand really that high?

    I don't particularly like the execution of this toy, it's ugly, so passing on this one for the prices being asked is an easy one for me.

    EDIT:

    If you're willing to pay a hundred plus for the guy, why not buy the Amazon.com one, an airbrush and paints, a painters tape? With a little patience, you can make this guy look even more game accurate for less than what its going for now online.

    Of course, why would they sell it at cost? They had to travel to the con, spend $$ to get a room & get food, pay to get in, spend all the time in line, buy the toy.

    Its MUCH cheaper to get it off ebay then to go to the con itself.

    I was at the CON and couldn't even get one myself, such a sad travesty SDCC has become.

    What time on Monday does the SDCC stuff usually hit? IIRC it was usually before noon. East Coast time.

    Typically you need to be there preview night or Thursday at the latest to get the "good" exclusives.
