So I figured I would start this thread as so many pics are so spread out and you cannot find what you are looking for even when trying. So I figured a centralized location where people can put mistransfomation pics of Bruticus.

Not sure if some one did this one yet, but here is what I came up with.

    Proper configuration:

So please post your pics. Maybe we can come up with a really good mistransformation. Also excuse the pics, light box is packed away.

I really like the way you "fixed" Vortex's arm mode. I just did that to my Bruticus and it looks way better. Sadly, Blastoff's arm mode is just too shitty to save, IMO. Thankfully, Swindle is a very awesome arm and Blastoff can make for a decent foot if you use his guns to make it more stable.

Anyways, I figured out a way to get Onslaught's cannon to stay on his back in bot mode. Posted it a few places, but only one person acknowledged it. Here it is again, though.

That's an awesome fix. By the way, I disagree on Blastoffs arm. I took Peaugh's mistransformation and messed with it a bit myself and it came out great I think. It just doesn't tab in too well. But looks good.

I think this is my final mode! Booyaa. No fucking way is he a turd. He looks great like this!

I tried a configuration like that and the only problem was that Blastoff's legs don't peg together and it just ends up looking odd to me. Plus, you only have access to half of a Bruticus fist. This is the configuration I'm gonna stick with. As you can see, I pegged in Blastoff's guns to the bottom of his foot mode so that the gun's primary handle's act as stabilizers. Otherwise, that foot will wobble around like nobody's business! Also, I gotta say that he's WAY taller than I was anticipating. He's just a smidge taller than Classics Bruticus with the add-ons if you don't count the cannons.

I just tried it. It looks nice, but it sacrifices most the arm swivel for Blast-off. Vortex's transformation is a very nice variation though, just as poseable if not more., I think Peaugh's is still the best looking, and retains the most articulation.

Does it bother anyone else that 3 of the 4 connectors to Onslaught are purple? It would be nice if they had all been black.

Yeah, I agree. I've been thinking of painting the purple ones black on mine.

It is more limited. But the posability is there. So if you want to get him in a good pose for your shelf you could. If you are going to play with it, not the way to go.

Yeah, You can kinda force them together a bit and it does actually tab the two fists. But yeah, not the best. Good for pictures and the shelf though.

As for his height, yeah, he is awesome. I saw so many people bitching, I was worried. Sure, Hasbro didn't do the best job with him, but he is 5 deluxe figures. He is great. People need to reduce the hate.

Yes, that definately does. I was like, WTF? Why would they do this?

I wonder if the main line's connectors would work better with the SDCC version and if it will be fairly easy to do some part swapping.

Oddly enough, I think that 3 of the 4 connectors on retail Bruticus are Black, with the exception being Swindle's purple connector!

I think he's talking about the way Peaugh mistransformed the legs.

Brilliant thread Al. The fan modes are truly all over the place so one centralized location is a smart move.

Love your Vortex mod. Peaugh gets the point for his Blastoff mod. The first review I saw ( may have been Peaugh again) locked Brawl with that little piece flip to bulk his leg. And Swindle is Swindle, no mod needed.

Mine left Cali yesterday so I look forward to contributing soon.

    Proof.

    Still, cool mods.

I keep missing the re-sales on HTS and have lost hope on this one, but my big question is...

How does this SDCC version compare to the PCC version with the aftermarket add-ons? I am always catching myself about to pull the trigger on the PCC add-ons (since I still have my PCC Bruticus in his box)...but since they are comparable in price, which one is superior, SDCC or PCC Add-ons?

...sorry for a little off-topic, just curious =)
