Just trying to get my hands on Sat and preview night...

 

I already have mine (having a friend who's an actor is the best thing ever), but I wish luck to everyone trying to get in to this morning's bloodbath of a registration.

 

I braved and succeeded. Shall this be our meetup forum this year?

 

I'm hoping that the RFID chip will work well. It seems to have gone over fairly well at Wondercon. If this succeeds in cutting down on scalping, then will the crowds at SDCC get smaller? Somehow I doubt it.

 

My friend that gets me in as her guest got our badges, so mine arrived in the mail from her yesterday. It'll be weird to actually travel with it to San Diego this time, instead of picking it up at the convention center on Wednesday.

 

I hope my badges arrive soon. It's crazy thinking that it's already upon us again. 36 days to go.

 

30 days! Toucan tips should start today. SDCCBLOG starts their tips today as well, starting with packing (what to pack and bring, etc.)

 

It just flashed on me that they were supposed to have some premiere-type screening for the next Star Trek at SDCC, I think with cast members there. With yesterday's news that's going to be really sad (as will any premiere/screening, of course, knowing Anton's not there).
