I searched up scrubs but I could find a proper thread for it.

So I just finished Season 8. That final was great and it brought a tear to my eye. It sucks that Season 9 isn't about JD and crew though it should be pretty good. When is it premiering?

The episode when JD leaves is done so well.

I kinda lost interest a bit in Scrubs a couple of years back. The characters pretty much all seem to have been Flanderized to the point they're all deeply irritating.

Last season's finale was the perfect end to the series and I will not recognize any new episodes going forward, even if Braff and co. make guest appearances.

    ^ I agree

Last season was great and felt like the first few seasons of scrubs. The ending was perfect and nothing more needs to be done.

Been with it since the start. Season 9 is a mistake IMO. One of the few series finales that they actually NAILED, and now they're just going to keep going. Though I gotta agree with Sledge on a couple of the characters. JD got a little ridiculous with them playing up his unmanliness from the sixth season on, Kelso turned into the old guy I just couldn't take seriously (though 8 helped rectify that somewhat). Elliot pretty much became a sex addict when Keith was in the picture though, which I still regret because I think Keith had a little more potential outside of being a sex toy, only to be written off like nothing at the end.

Most of 8 seemed hollow to me. But will give props galore for the tasteful manner they ended it.
I will try to watch 9, but i swear, it will be extremely easy for me to bail on it.

I will miss Perry. (you thought i was gonna say Cox, right? perverts.)

But Scrubs as i know it ended when it should have.

Scrubs was about Newbies getting in over their heads and treading water. JD and the gang are snorkeling, they are skiing on it now. they are done.

and that last batch of scrubs were so f-ing annoying. not JD and Turk annoying, either.

I didn't really like season 8, though the finale was great. I really started to dislike the show around the time of season 6

It agree with the common sentiment that the season finale ended so perfectly that it'll be hard to carry on. That said, a bit of spoilerish info...

Zack Braff is supposedly signed on for eight episodes. Since Sarah Chalke (Elliot) is pregnant in real life, it'll be written into the script with JD and Elliot already married with a child on the way.

Once the show left NBC I haven't really watched it. Some of the writers changed and the characters became flat, predictable, and boring. It's time for it to just bow out.
