I would return Blackout to Target and get me a Leader Prime. Who knows, maybe you'll get him for $20!

I agree with the many people that have spoken up and said you should have fessed up in regards to the deal...but...in all fairness, we don't know his situation.

For example...I consider myself a moral and just person, but the Toys R Us out here needs to be ripped off...cause they always try weaseling "collectors," ie...ME, out of their promotions...

Nice story there Squall!! I wish I could have been there....at the end I would have pointed at the manager and gave him the old "Nelson from the Simpsons" laugh....

Have you seen him since then?

Maybe he got the refund in cash, + a sale-price guarantee receipt, i.e. a raincheck for the "tank" toy (many stores still do that when a particular sale product is not in stock as advertised) - so to those educating the original poster on math, he may have actually got the Blackout for $7.99.

More like since it was way more trouble for him to remove the sale and re-enter it with the corrected coupon value. You guys are getting mad at this guy for a mistake that will most likely not cost anyone except TRU a single thing - even the managers are generally too lazy to fix it.

Worst case scenario, telling the Manager would cost him more and the manager would get mad at the cashier for not catching it. That, however, is HIDEOUSLY unlikely. More likely the same exact thing would happen whether or not he told the cashier. I don't see why it's worth fussing about - as someone else said, it's only a toy!

I see him almost everytime I go in, and the minute we make eye contact, I always shoot him the ol' stinkeye!

That certainly wasn't the only time he tried "taking" a promotion away from me...but it certainly was the last. Victory is mine.

Gotta agree with ya. I thought Blackout was going to be one of my favorites, and only grabbed Wreckage as an afterthought. I can honestly say that I don't really care for Blackout that much, but Wreckage is suprisingly fun.

One might even go so far to say that Blackout is "pass-up-able."

His auto-morph gimmick barely works, he barely holds together in alternate mode, and is disappointingly small. He's a deloyager at best.

Leader Prime. He is the path to movie glory. The one true movie toy to rule them all.

I hate to pick on Blackout so much too...I actually didn't enjoy any of the "fan-favorites."

Blackout is far inferior to Starscream, and Ironhide is far inferior to Ratchet, in my honest opinion. And yes...I also do enjoy Scorpinok!

Man, I feel sorry for the salesgal...and I hope nothing seriously bad happens to her. In Asia, such as mistake can mean a firing.

ok everyone still talking in here should read the first two pages............

it was 8 dollars after he gave her the sales receipt from the first figure.... which was worth 7.99.

couple that fact with the other fact of the sale still going on for voyagers and we have a thread about............................."Hey I payed full sale price for blackout!!! suckers!!!"

Sorry there, big poppa, but I have been in that situation before, and have not had the heart to take advantage of simple mistakes. Don't believe that all people would do that; most people are honest and would notify the store of their mistake. I honestly believe that transfers to this board, because, what goes around, comes around, and i think most people on here have a really good heart. If your experience on this board or wherever is any different, well, I am sorry for ya!
