ok, so i bought a movie wreckage figure last week during targets sale and THEN realized he wasnt in the movie. and i had already decided to only get the movie figures (no cheesey video game fodder) so i take it back monday after the sale, the cashier asks if there was anything wrong with it and i say "no, my nephew just wanted the other tank" figuring the clerk had no idea. she asked if i wanted to go look for it but a line was forming so she gave me a sale price guarantee reciept. so i go back today and finally find a blackout. i go to the register with the guarantee reciept figuring ill get it for 1799 like it was on sale. i hand the slip to the girl she scans it and looks at the reciept and the screen confused. i figure oh well no sale. then the cashier rattles off "that'll be 8.34 please" (5% tax so really 7.99) i frantically pull a ten from my pocket, pay and get out before she realizes the mistake.

point of the story, i got blackout for 799 (less than a deluxe figure) three words HA HA HA

how am i a thief. the girl screwed up not me. it was either the cashier that rang me up or the one that gave me the reciept, but not my fault. besides in about 3 months itll be clearanced to that amount anyway. really im more of a timetraveller than a theif.

Actually, since you already paid for wreckage (in your post there was no mention of a refund) either 9.99 or 7.99, you paying additional 7.99 would either come out right (17.98) or discounted (15.98), so you walked away saving 2 bucks at best.

So...you bought Wreckage, found out he isn't in the movie, and returned him based solely on that and not on whether he's a cool figure or not? I don't understand people.

Dee-Dee-Dee! Dude, not only are periods your friend, but so is math...

And the sad thing is, you thought you stole 8 bucks or whatever from the cashier. Man, put yourself in someone else's position. Many of those stores have high turnover, and it begs to reason that she had not been in position forever. On top of that, sometimes store policies can be very confusing, especially with change receipts or whatever it was you gave her. While it may not have been your fault she rang it up wrong, the stand up thing to do would be to tell her the mistake and pay the correct amount. I mean, it is a freakin' toy my man! This board, however, is definitely not the place to brag about cheating someone, whether it was your fault or not. There are too many MATURE, grown, honest people on here and we WILL call you out!

if its a sale its one thing. or you told them of the mistake and the manager said will give it too you for that price anyway and thanks for your honesty. but to know that she messed it up and leave is just wrong. I got titanium megs for four dollars. i knew he was marked wrong and told an associate and the manager told him to give it to me for that price since i caught the error

The most important thing here is not that you got this thing cheap through a mistake, but by not pointing it out you may have got a young girl in trouble that may cost her that job. That IS the important thing here people, otherwise I dont think big company would even notice the few dollars

The real irony is that Wreckage is far and away a better figure than Blackout.
