Sweet! Looks like there's hope for the future yet! Not like this brand of pussified kids entering the work force nowadays.
While the protesters had a point in that he could have been used for wool production, it sounds like the children are getting a pretty good education in reality. Tho it seems to me it would be even more educational to actually have had them witness it, as many small farms pay butchers to come do it on site. --Moony
They do know that lots of lambs are killed in slaughterhouses every day for food -- right? And they decide to freak out about one lamb being killed?
I love how PETA is not even mentioned in the article and yet OP decides to make it the title of the thread. I guess we're all getting our Jump to Conclusions mat out here in GD. So do they get to eat the lamb at least?/
all i got to say its that lamb is delicious. so good on ya kids feast like the future kings you will be
It's the blade of grass that stands out that gets cut. None of those other lambs had names or were being raised by a group of schoolchildren. The more an animal stands out, the more likely PETA is going to latch onto it as a beacon of all that is wrong with our meat eating society.
So people are crying "think of the children" when the children already thought this through and decided to do this. Idiots.
Over the past few years, PETA have targeted Australia's wool trade, so sending the lamb to wool production wouldn't have been good enough for those people.
...where in the hell does it even mention PETA in that article? What do they even have to do with this? I'm not defending PETA mind you, they are just a bunch of loons and crazies, what I am defending is reading the freaking article. Doesn't seem to happen too often anymore before people start pullin out the pitchforks.
Have I mentioned recently that they kill animals? So it's not like they're too different from these kids or anything.
