Here is my attempt at Scourge/Black Convoy. I wanted to use gray for the thighs and upper arms, but I could not find a gray paint marker. The teal in alt mode doesn't exactly match the teal in robot mode. It's a little more blue in alt mode. The only modding I did was removing that clear orange tab in his shoulder to give it more articulation.

This particular paint job is not as good as some of my other ones. This one was a little more rushed. I may update with some touch-ups in the future.

I apologize for the blurry pictures. My camera is really low on batteries and I think it's affecting the focus.

I replaced the upper torso pic.

Cool! That was the first thing that I thought of when I saw this sculpt. He looks bad. And when I say bad, I mean gooood!

I wouldn't have minded if we got this and Prime was the repaint.

Yep, as I figured, it looks 100 times better than the G2 Laser Prime colors.

    Kudos.

Yeah, I initially wasn't planning on getting this figure. But it grew on me. I picked up two. I haven't opened the other one yet, but I'll probably leave that one alone.

I think you need to go the whole hog and paint the grey bits, too. Another part of Scourge's look is that he was actually predominantly dark grey. The slight pinkish tint these pictures are showing off probably isn't helping any.

Yeah, I planned on doing that whenever I find the right paint or paint mix. The lightness of the gray bits sort of distracts from the overall color scheme. I think it looks fine for now.

Love the repaint. Definitely something I would buy. But you know what? I won't have to! Cause you beat me to it. I'm doing the exact same custom :D

I'm wondering, what did you do/use to make the sword and windows look like that (sword kinda looks clear red)?

I use sharpie paint markers for my repaints, mainly because I'm lazy. It actually works out pretty well. I just used a red sharpie paint marker over the orange. I think it works because the paint just goes on like that on clear plastic. If I layer it more, then it will become solid. Like the headlights in alt mode. I'm not totally sure how, but it works.

I could not agree with you more. I was not a big fan of Classics OP. I'm still waiting to get a decent sized OP. I have Animated voyager, but he doesn't fit in well. I plan to get the Masterpiece reissue, but that'l be huge. I also have the HFTD voyager, but that doesn't fit in either.
