Just beat the game with scott this past weekend. wtf is up with the(his?) ending? nothing at ALL like the comic.(quite the opposite almost, without spoilering stuff) Do I have to beat it on supreme master to get a different ending or something? beat it on normal.
I can't even download the sodding thing. Every time I try it just stops at 1% and shows up as a corrupted file in the system memory. I give up for today, no game is worth this.
I swear the credits are even longer than Assassin's Creed and you can't skip them (or can you if you beat the game again?).
It's for sure a multiplayer game! I was getting my ass handed to me in multiplayer on the demo, then my buddy came over last night and we are both 80's kids and used to game on the 8-bit NES and we ripped that demo up! WAY more fun with friends at the house, brings back memories. Trying to work on a Scott Pilgrim gaming night with a few of my friends and my girlfriend once a week to get some 4 player ass kicking going on! Such a blast!
Each character has it's own ending. You'll have to play through each one to figure out who has the ending that is the same as the comics Nope. I've finished with the four main characters and you have to sit through it each time. I just found something else to do while they played. Just keep leveling up. I think I took on Lucas Lee at about Level 10 and I was all right. The game does get a ton easier after you hit level 16. The best trick to level up is to make enough money to pay off Scott's late fee at No Account Video. Once you do that it will open up 5 movies for rent. One is a 1-up, which you can rebuy until you have 9 lives. Three increase your stats (though skip the second option for that). Option 3 increases your Strength and Speed by 20 points. Option 5 increases your Defense and Willpower by 15 points and also gives you 320 XP. Option 4 will give you 1500 XP. The beauty about these rentals are that they are only $4.95 each so it doesn't take much money to max out a character. The hardest part is getting the $500+ to pay off the late fee. Sorry for the long-winded explanation.
ah, so it doesn't make a difference what difficulty level you beat the game on? the endings are the same? I know some games like to do that, so I was confused for a bit. Guess I'll have to beat the game with the other characters. I need to do Supreme Master difficulty anyways.
After running perfectly all day yesterday, I've now had the game hard lock on me twice today. Both times on top of the train in World 4 while fighting the first group of ninjas. Awesome.
