Came in 3rd place I believe. Can't say I'm surprised seeing as it hit the same day as "The Expendables". That and there hasn't really been much marketing. Hopefully word of mouth will boost ticket sales next weekend.
Yeah I plan on watching it this weekend. It's still been well-taken, so tank or not, it's a fun ride.
If you ask me it looked like some hipster junk, twilight for males. How can it possible stand next to such a manly movie like The Expendables? Actors didn't help either.
See, that's the biggest misconception. Everyone who hasn't heard of it just calls it new-age, hipster garbage. But Twilight for males......really......really? Scott Pilgrim doesn't try to take itself seriously like Twilight does. The concept is outlandish and it acknowledges it.....plus there are no werewolves claiming to be shapeshifters.
hey lol wouldnt it b awesome if they had chuck norris in the expendable haha lol that would be super manly hahaha looool Expendables, while fun no doubt, is still a shitty-ass movie and far more accurately fits the bill of "male twilight." You know, because it excessively caters to what the males want (to the exclusion of being any good and appealing to anyone else). Sure it's cool but don't kid yourself - you are basically sitting in your granny panties eating a tub of icecream and watching Jacob and Edward go at it. Also you're having your period.
Hey, just throwing what I heard people describe it, and I read the first volume but didn't like it, even though part of me thought I would love it. And funny thing about the expandable, they actually tried to not only get Chuck Norris in, but also Steven Segal and Van damme. Too bad things didn't work out.
No, it's bad enough that they will need 37 Bluray discs to hold the entire Expendable movie. You'd be asking for trouble if you added Norris. Besides. Chuck Norris isn't Expendable.
Oh don't worry, it's total hipster garbage, I don't think anyone is denying that. But male twilight is pretty inaccurate.
Yeah, because he always does super karate and stuff in all of his movies. If I see him pull another sword out of his chest in another movie I'm gonna scream. How many times has he done that now? And having him fight Brandon Routh again? I was like "Oh, great. He fights Brandon Routh in every movie he's in".
Survival Horror Mode = Perfect way to level your characters. Was playing it on and off today and was able to get Scott from level 8 to level 12.
Is it the 25th yet?.. I saw the game at an anime convention this past weekend and it looks just as good as the trailers make it out to be.
I mean the nerd act, is gettin old....all the movies he's done, even Year One...which made me never ever to watch a Jack Black movie again....
