I really want to see this. It reminds me of No More Heroes. Then I'll have to get the original comic and waste more money on stuff!

Way late to the party on this one. I've heard the name, but never investigated the comic or any info about the movie before now. Could be interesting.

However, Michael Cera seems to get progressively more annoying with each passing thing he's in. Can we go back to Arrested Development now?

Finally, Youtube dude: it's "VERSUS", not "verse". Grrr.

Agreed, I think it's totally awesome. The fact it's something new amid a sea of sequels, remakes and reboots is great too, but what makes it so great is the sheer over the top nature of it.

Hell yeah, I've always got time for Michael Cera and Jason Schwartzman.

Looks very good, but I could have done without the annoying and random "Youtuber who thinks people actually care about his opinion." Seems like nearly every youtube video I watch has some video commentary either at the beginning or the end. Daniel Tosh they are not.

Cera is such a terrible casting choice for Scott, but everyone else is spot on so I'll let it slide.

Wasn't totally sold on it before I saw this, but I'm interested now.

Going to have to do some reading before I see it though.

Hopefully I'll get all the series so far for my birthday, which is around the same time I am going to see it, so things 'll probably make sense to me.

really i thought cera was an awsome choice he has that underdog feel that scott has in the books. plus he has got whining down to a T and scott really is a huge whiner.

I think Cera is a great choice, but I actually thought Wallace and Ramona looked pretty off for some reason. Hard to say why on Ramona, maybe she just looks... big compared to Cera, but I expected Wallace to look a little more young and fashionable.

Loved the comics, anyways, and looking forward to the last comic. Kind of surprised it looks like they show some fighting with Gideon even though the last book with that actual fight hasn't been released.

Read the books- they're pretty clever and the movie looks to capture all the over the topness of them. Or you can continue to not want to get it or not like it, if that sounds like a better way to go.

And here is a new tv spot:

Scott was a whiner but Cera seems too soft-spoken.

I will agree that Cera seems to pull off a dopey look while Scott should have a more wide eyed, excited look. Still, I don't expect everyone to be perfect so it could have been far worse. Cera is a good actor, even if some of his roles have been less then great.
