Good luck. Those shoulder in the illustration look like Cyb Metroplex's all day long.

It will be hard to give him leg articulation, especially the knees, since there's so much plastic that needs to fold together. But a posable G1 Scorponok would be all kinds of awesome, so good luck!

im thinking of doing a g1 style Scorponok with more movement. using a g1 Scorponok as my starting point (my one dosent have any accessories so making new ones) any idears or hints with parts to use for any bits

think im going to use some bits of cyberton omegasurprme like his head
might use a litte move prime as fast tracks with a bit of moding

    ta

just a couple of new pics (sorry if thay come out fuzzy again need to rob a new camra)

fast track= tftm small prime +some lego bits
lard zarak= cyberton omega surprimes head
and now got two arms done but only one in pic

try the new pic not much done sinse last time tring to work out legs still

    would love some feed back

and smokescreen the knees r a nightmare and im still trying to think how to bild em

I think it's looking pretty good, hope the articulation process goes well, I love seeing G1 updated.

Here's some feedback... rotate your pictures right-side up! You're giving me a neck cramp! ;)

Seriously, I think you're on the right track with this one... the Energon Omega headmaster works pretty well for Scorponok. I don't know enough about the original G1 Scorponok's workings to judge how difficult it's going to be, but I'm excited to see your results.

I figure you should get your hands on a leader/supreme-sized figure to use for spare parts like hip joints and stuff... chances are G1 Scorpy's entire hips and upper legs will have to be swapped out if you want poseability as seen in that illustration. Maybe a cheap Primus or C. Metroplex from Ebay?

looking interesting but the legs will be a problem.

you might be better off looking for a helmet for him though, the OS head looks good but maybe I'm just attatched to mine.

    good luck with it :)

I really like your new fastrack

Looks good thus far. The only thing I might suggest is giving the head some blade type pinchers on the side. As a bonus they'd make nice weapons for the zarak.
