I had been thinking about how I liked them when I was a kid, and was perusing some lots for sale. I ended up with this batch, including zod, for basically $2 per figure shipped:

I really think they deserve a bit more of a following than they seem to have. the nice thing about gobots, aside from their comparative sturdiness is that their transfomation schemes seemed much more inventive than transformers.

one thing i like about them gobots is that they are more in scale with each other.

Awesome score , those old Gobots rule!

It's a good time to score a Gobot Command Center as they're going around $25-35

The grey Dive-Dive (submarine) is a bootleg, and the Cy-Kill needs another wheel. You may also want to find Geeper-Creeper's gun and rollbar.

You're lucky to have got Blaster's rockets and Geeper-Creeper's windscreens, they're usually missing on loose toys. Fitor looks like he's got both the guns on his wingtips (usually broken off).
Looks like that WaterWalk is a late European version (stickers on wings, US releases lack non-factory stickers). :)

I'm not entirely sure, but that white Crasher might be a bootleg (no paint on visor + weird-looking wheels). Check for a Bandai copyright on the underside once you get it.

Anyway, nice lot. Now try to get your hands on Super Gobots like Super Couper or Raizor. Those seriously give Transformers a run for their money.

Some of them were rather nicely designed. Unfortunately, Hasbro ran the marketing of TFs so well, that it eclipsed Gobots in the end.

Really? I would have sworn that mine had had stickers. I know it was US release.
