    First, I plan on getting this guy because I have gotten the other TF revoltechs. Second, I am quoting you because I agree and have had similar experience with Revoltech. Besides the actual QC issues I've had, I'm not crazy about some of the soft material and ratcheting, which is ok if you don't mind using the stands they provide, but actually getting a lot of poses is difficult from these "super articulated" figures if you want them to stand on their own.

    This thing benefits massively from not having been designed by Pat Lee.

    But srsly, if the price point for this is right, it wil make a great alternative to the dual model kit Prime which, let's face it, I will never be able to afford.

    Do want. Though I might just leave the swords in the box since they look a bit oversized.

    I have 34 Revoltech figures and I never broke anything on them. They're more sturdy & durable than a Gundam model kit, a Robot Damashii or a figma for an example but you still have to keep in mind they're not toys like TF figures you usually find at retail but collector items meant to be posed but not to be "played roughly with."

    Revoltech do break REALLY easily, I much prefer figma.

    That being said, I love the Sci Fi series! I really wanna pick up this kid, Rodan and Alien. I hope they release a Megatron too!

    I have been able to deal with all of this issues (broken pegs and such) but the worst is the Dreamwave Optimus Prime.
    His head doesn't even stay on anymore.

    At any rate, the new pictures look good.
    I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

    I might end up getting this guy if they end up announcing Megs or something, yet another Optimus in yet another scale has no place in my collection, to be honest I'm much more excited for revoltech War Machine and T-rex from Jurassic Park.

    I will be picking this up. Hopefully they make a bumblebee, shockwave and ironhide.
