    IMPOSSIBLE.

Obesity is caused by rising oil prices.

Also, a direct link exists between cancer and country music, according to local Fox affiliate, Fox 5 nightly news.

I was depressed that Izzy left G'nR. The Black Album didn't help much.

Not to derail the subject by delving into the serious, but have you noticed that during kids program blocks they will have advertising segments devoted to telling kids to get up off their asses and go play?

For instance, McDonald's will run a segment where they advertise nothing (other than seeing Ronald McDonald there is no product placement) and have Ronald McDonald saying "Hey, kids! Here is how you play soccer" or "Hey, kids! Sometimes you should get up and dance -like this!" and they basically have to tell the kids to get up and move because the parents won't -it's a sad state of affairs.

Also, everyone knows that Ninjas > Pirates.

I've seen those. Yeah, I agree - it's mighty depressing when the TV has to be the one that says "Go out and play."

    Yikes.

New study shows that Saturday Morning Cartoons from the years 1983-1987 brought about Global Climate Change (aka global warming). In a related study it was claimed that Smurfs cause Cancer.

Its the blue pigment, I'm telling you. And what's worse, the fact that tv has to tell kids to go exercise or the fact that the kids still don't do it?

And I thought that tv had such impact on impressionable children.

Why did Gargamel want to eat the Smurfs anyway?

I always wondered that. He looked at those little blue dudes with what could possibly be a turd hanging out the back of their pants and thought "Those must be delicious!"

I heard that originally he wanted to boil them down to make gold, but they thought that might be too graphic for kids, so they changed it to simply wanting to eat them.
