Aw man, if only my dad wouldn't commandeer the TV...
Not to mention mom has to teach. I sure would love to watch some Macross, though!

I knew I shouldn't have started Macross Plus tonight. I'm going to be tempted to put the second DVD in after the first part ends tonight and I should be finising up a frakking research paper.

What was the name of the second anime series that they played? I mean the one that came after Noein and before Macross plus.

Aah... Sci-Fi's ol' "Saturday Anime" moves to Mondays? Good to see Sci-Fi gettin back to playing Japanese animation; now if only they can start playing cartoons again in the early morning hours(when I'm usually up working) again. Kinda missed it when they played Transformers, Bionic Six, StarWars: Droids, and that one show Terrahawks.
MAN. I missed watching Sci-Fi before school and on Saturdays... but yeah. XD Glad to hear that they're playing Japanimation(YEAH! I'm old) again! I'll have to check it out : D! Maybe they'll play some of the classics they usually played? Or do they just play series? I'd love to see them play 8-Man After, "Casshan", the original Vampire Hunter D, or Robot Carnival; even the old Tenchi Muyo movies or Iria would rock it : D! (I'm just not a big fan of a lot of the new movies/series coming out of Japan at the moment).

I just hope the "genius" behind Adult Swim's current line up of garbage doesn't get a job at Sci-fi and start running bumpers like:

We hate this anime crap, but we are playing it for you.

Attention Cartoon Network idiots: I started watching your network at night because of anime!

    oops, was that a rant?

yeah, I always thought that was odd, especially since they used to show anime almost exclusively on the channel everynight. You would think they'd show a little respect to the medium that kept people interested in the channel before they had their own original programming and FOX's left-overs.

Heh. Just got done watching this actually.

Noien: Don't really care for it.

    Tokko: Pretty freakin' cool.

Macross Plus: Been a while since I've seen the dub. It's a good dub, but this remains the only case where I prefer the original Japanese. The voices just fit the chars better IMO. In either case, it's still a great story.

Also from the clips they show in their commericals, it's looks like they got some really good stuff coming our way. ROD FTW!

Any time Richard Epcar is on the english dub, I prefer the english dub. Especially his Batou.

    Amen. Richard Epcar = BADASS
I really wish they'd release a dub of the second GitS movie so he can play Batou one last time.
