So basically I began collecting again late in 2005. I was at a Toys R Us with my grandma a bit before Christmastime, and she wanted to know if there was anything there I wanted. Well, I had been at this comic message board where people were talking about Transformers of the time, such as the Supreme Starscream so I figured hey, what the hell, why not get a Transformer, like old times sake. When I was a kid I had some G1 toys, such as Scorponok, Fort Max, Omega Supreme, et al, but alas, none of them have survived. Got a Fort Max and Omega Supreme, but sill no Scorponok. So I went around the toy aisle, and sure enough there were plenty of figures on sale, so I went around and pointed out some for her to choose from, such as the aforementioned Supreme Starscream, Alternators Ravage, Reissue Ricochet, the Vector Prime/Starscream 2-pack, etc. So now come Christmas, I figure I'll be getting a Transformer, right? You know, like ONE Transformer. However, she and my mom ended up getting me everything I had pointed out, plus some extra deluxe 2-packs and Cybertron Scorponok, because my mom had remembered I had him when I was a kid. So basically that's how my new collection got started, and for about the first year, until Classics, I had only been getting some figures that were on sale and various other figures that I wanted. Then Classics and the Movie figures came and I've been getting pretty much every new figure Deluxe size and up. Plus other stuff. So here it is. Since then I started collecting other sorts of figures too, so I decided to take pictures of the rest of it as well and lump them in here at the end. Very nice collection. I pretty just started about two years ago too, but I'm only at around 30-40 Transformers, then about 20 G1's that I was able to salvage from my parents attic. The 07 Transformers movie turned me back into a kid. Depending on my mood, my den either looks like a Cybertonian catwalk, or a Jedi/Sith battlefield. I have a lot of Star Wars toys too.
$50 for everything! LOL Love the Optimus shelf. I have every incarnation of Optimus out there. The only G1 figure that survived a fire a long time ago. Optimus...."don't grab anything just run" MY ASS!!! it's Optimus!
