are there any scenes from other movies or shows that you would want to see remade or parodied in transformers, whether it be comic, movie, or show.

    what are they?

mine is the scene from the end of "who framed roger rabbit" where the detective purposly sings and goofs around to make the toon weasels laugh hysterically. I figure in a show, some autobots are captured and one autobot pulls the same thing and gets the decepticons laughing uncontrallably as a distraction and either another autobot takes them out or, like in roger rabbit, the laughing cons cause their own deaths/distraction.

No, jeez, let the brand do something new. It was done well in beast wars for comedy, but its not something I want to see on a regular basis.

    Agreed.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing an adaption of L.A. Noire starring Nightbeat and Red Alert.

The Marvel TF comics often did a pretty good job of taking genres and Cybertron-ing them up for a TF tale. The black and white UK stories often dipped into referencing a style of storytelling setting outside the usual sci-fi.

No,the movie verse used too many other movie ideas & they were terrible.

Rotf pretender alice was a ripp off of the female terminator in the T3 movie.

Is there a source for this fact or are you just assuming it was ripping off T3?

Even then, does 'ripping off' ideas from other sources actually make them bad ideas?

It's all about the execution. You can take a reference that would seem like a terrible idea and make it work, or completely blow something that seemed like an obvious hit. It's all a matter of the writing, context, and performance.

I thought this kind of stuff happened moderately frequently. Jetstorm from Beast Machines had at least a few borderline copyright-infringing phrases. This one time he was chasing the Maximals, and he said something like, "The bat, the spider, AND the cheetah? I've almost got the whole set. GOTTA CATCH 'EM ALL!"

There was a G1 episode where Starscream wasn't allowed into this building, and Starscream gets upset and shouts: "Passes? Passes? We don't need no stinking passes!" I forget exactly what movie that came from, but I got a chuckle when I recognized it.

I recently noted that BM Jetstorm, was a more fun version of Captain Power's Sauron. Even with the term: "Maximum burn!!!"
