Im just gonna cut to the chase. I love scary movies and I have to say none these year or last doesnt satify my needs for a good scare. Silent hill was pretty scary bit its basically the same to me. So now let me get to my question. Does anyone no any movies that are so scary that it can make you literally crap your pants? Im talkin about a movie that will make you afraid of going to sleep, even in the daytime!

Have you seen it?? If it was dream world, even Freddy would be scared.

In all seriousness The Strangers is pretty scary.

most horror movies I have seen fall on the sword of there own cliché and loose scare factor as it feels too unreal. I saw wolf creek not too long ago and that was pretty scary

    Do such movie even exist?

Those Japanese horror films usually put me on edge for long after I've watched them. Ringu, Dark Water, The Eye, The Grudge and so on. Not the shitty American remakes though.

Stonewall & Riot was pretty scary, but I'd have to say Pink Flamingos.

    It was quite hilariously stupid.

Amy Winehouse was a gasoline-drinking, saber-toothed tiger thing. :lol

Check out the 1963 version of "The Haunted", but not the crappy 1999 version.

    Also check out "The Gravedancers".

DO NOT see The Apparition. My girlfriend and I love this time of year because the horror movies start rolling out but that thing was so crappy. The entire premise shown in the trailer is changed in the actual movie. Gonna see The Possession tonight or tomorrow, I have higher hopes for that one.

I think The Ring was the last movie to legitimately creep me out. And the reason why is because it was one of the first movie in years to do the whole "overly articulate creepy child" thing that has now been so beaten to dust in EVERY horror/scary movie since that it has absolutely zero impact anymore.

I think The Ring is one of the few PG-13 horror movies that really worked. Im just glad it was made back then and not now. If it were made now, the studio would definitely put it in 3D and throw as many gimmicks at you as possible.
