i don't know about "scary" but i do know of a sorta creepy song but.... its over 30min and no way i can have it up on youtube and it would ruin it if i split it in parts and reading just the lyrics wont do it justice.

but it's called Natasha by Pig Destroyer
if anyone is interested I posted the lyrics here Pig Destroyer - Natasha Lyrics

^^^just post a blank entry and we can figure out by your sig that the answer is Pig Destroyer, lol.

There's different levels of scary songs.
there's an old country song i heard as a kid about a man who picked up a hitchhiker who turned out to be the Ghost of Hank Williams (SR.)

I used to think Ministry's "Scarecrow" was scary.

Or the theme song to the 80's Twilight Zone tv show.

And i still get spooked listening to Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Iron Maiden.

i can't pick one. it varies to me.

That's "Midnight In Montgomery" by Alan Jackson. It's actually one of his better songs, IMO.

A song that scared the shit out of me when I first heard it was "Sober" by Tool. It's probably just because I was watching the video when I first heard the song and Tool makes some awesomely creepy videos. One of my favorite bands now!

YouTube - total eclipse of the heart

Ok, total eclipse of the heart is not a scary song by any means. However, the video is terrifying as it's essentially all about her being sexually repressed from not being able to sleep with her male high school students.

I bought the sound track to 'Silent Hill' and one night there was a blackout and this was playing on my PSP, which was at the other end of the house:

YouTube - Silent Hill OST - Devil's Lyric

Good Lord - no mention of King Diamond in here yet? Metal's maestro of the macabre spins the most chilling operettas of horror. :rock
