Just a thread to post my experiments. I have near zero talent and only took a few free YouTube classes.

My likes are very inspired by BMOG, the Transorganics from Transformers, and the cyborg animals Doc Terror used on Centurions. They will be focusing on 1-piece animals with weapons added into their bodies, that can be used as weapons, or as individual animals.

First up is Sawbass. Made my mixing two existing free 3D models, and some simple shapes in a free CAD program. Has 5mm pegs and holes.

"Sawbass is a a real game fish. He loves at catch opponents floundering, and then reels them in to filet them with his biting circular saw teeth! When not fighting loves to cut the lines of big game fishers who have hooked a prize. He then slices in their boat while humming Show Me the Way To Go Home."

Next on the list, made be combining a free snail model, some parts of GI Joe vehicles, and some 5mm pegs and ports - Snailgunner. He's 2.5 inches long and has a 5mm handle and 5mm hole in the top and bottom. Works as both a independent character and as a Targetmaster.

"The slow Snailgunner may not be first on the draw, but he is often the last, firing magnetic rail projectiles with such force that he obliterates his opponents. The small but impressive double turret is one of the most powerful guns in existence. The rockets mounted on his sides are actually intended to allow him to travel faster, not fire at opponents. He can fire them as weapons, but then he can only crawl along at a... snail's pace!"

Okay, I tried loading these into Shapeways, and it had some small issues, like thin walls on the treds. It has a fixer and it's fixing them. That's neat.

    The Atomic Lamacycle.

"Oddly the blast range of the Atomic Lamacycle's atomic bombs is larger than the distance he can drive at top speed in the maximum time he can set on their timer, so he never uses the two massive nukes for fear of blowing himself up! His only other weapon is a machine gun loaded with rubber bullets. His opponents are afraid shoot at him for fear it will blow everyone to pieces!"

    Done by request, Hedge-Chucks!

5mm handles, as well as having a 5mm peg under one hedgehog, and a 5mm hole in the bottom of the other.

"No gene-spliced melee weapon is known to be more deadly and dangerous than the terrible Hedge-Chucks. Near countless numbers have fallen to their fatal fury! Sadly the vast majority of those slain by the twin terror were those attempting to wield them in combat, not their opponents. Up and Chuck, the hedgehog brothers, are proud of their long list of confirmed kills. They constantly try to trick arrogant heroes to rush into battle with them in hand!"

    So something like:

    Nutty Knifetail, the Switchblade Squirrel!

The 5mm peg in his rear can be used to place him as a fist on toys like Rook or a combiner. I made his 5mm holes shaped like hex nuts.

The Wheeliphant. While it works as a stand alone character, it is mostly intended to be a stand for one a figure or head with a 5mm hole in the bottom to stand on. Has a 5mm peg on top, and 5mm holes on the sides and on the bottom.

I was actually thinking of making a combiner in the style of vehicle Voltron, but with all animals. Shark arms, squirrel fists, etc.

    Pump Action Shotshark!

"The Pump Action Shotsharks were built by the nefarious Doctor Splicer to keep his troops well armed but also in line. The sharks are trained to eat their owners if they fail to follow an order of the mad doctor. Shotsharks are unable to fire their own shells without the help of their owner, so their relation is symbiotic - they are more effective in combat together than apart. If the owner of wants to stay on the good side of his Shotshark he should feed then fresh bloody meat often. Shotsharks love the taste of the victims of their shells."
