I just got leader Starscream a couple of days ago, and I absolutely love the figure. However, it's finaly made scale an issue for me. With the exception of Breakaway, my bots are mostly in scale. My cons however have 5 deluxe figures that, when compared to Screamer are disgustingly out of scale, and it sucks too, cause some of them (TFTM Wreckage) are awesome toys by themselves, but next to Screamer are pathetically TINY.

My own fanboy OCD tends to deal with alt. mode scale. I don't care how big the robots are in relation to each other, even if it doesn't match the official fiction, as long as the car and the semi truck and the jet all look relatively bigger/smaller in relation to each other.

Which makes Leader Starscream pretty perfect.

Agreed with screamer being close to perfect in the scale department, as well as most others(except paint, which I have already fixed G1 style). Its just a pity his is sooooo perfect next to TFTM Wreckage, who ISN'T, scale wise anyway.

    Solution: Stop caring about scale.

Result: All of your toys remain awesome.

This! for me when ever people get bent out of shape about toys they were not designed or built to scale I want to bash my head against a wall.

I can understand why people want then in aprox. scale on there on screen counterpoints but its never going to be perfectly done.

It depends on the scale for me.

I can deal with a character being in scout, deluxe or voyager size even if the size class seems a bit off for that character. Sort of like I'd like the Classics seekers to be in the voyager class but I can deal with them being only deluxe class figures.

I can't stand the legends class size though. No matter how much I want to add the character to my collection I just can't bring myself to buy legends sized figures.

Scale has been an issue since 1984. Even Masterpiece toys are out of scale.

I think this has been said before. WST and citibots work well together, but are still way out of scale. Scale means absolutely shit in the Transformer world.

^ Don't listen to this, us scale freaks can care all we want. And with a little bit of imagination (and photo editing) we can have the perfect scale we want.

If you're really worried about scale, you're definitely in the wrong hobby.

So if you've decided to use your imagination...

and photo editing, then why is scale an issue to begin with?

    This.

I only make scale an issue with my little scout lineup that's supposed to be supporting the scout combiners from Energon with the Fans Project kits. (aka:Voyager Prime makes no sense, so I use Hybrid Style Convoy) Other than that I can bend the rules depending on the figure.

While scale in the TF franchise has little effect on me, when it comes to the movie figures I do try to keep them in good scale. Hell, I was considering downsizing my entire display after hearing about the new Voyager OP and deluxe IH. As of now though I wanna try to get Leader Starscream since he's in better scale with the others, but it doesn't nag at me that much.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Wreckage is supposed to be "disgustingly tiny" in scale with Leader Starscream. Wreckage seems to be a fictional attack vehicle based loosely on the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, which is about 7 meters long. An F-22 is 19 meters long.

Don't worry about scale. Michael Bay doesn't. The G1 doesn't. If things were even supposed to be in scale, Starscream should be able to pick up Bumblebee just like you or I would pick up Ultimate Bumblebee. The forest fight in ROTF would have just had Optimus Prime slashing at Starscream's knees.

..all your dreams can come true.I'm probably one of the few that understood that one.
I don't care about scale at all.It actually makes them easier to display when you have all the different sizes.

I think the Scale issue is rediculous. So what if Animated Lugnut is tiny. So What if BB Bumblebee is bigger than the average deluxe be creative.

Toys being out of scale is not much of issue.....except for when it came to Animated Optimus Prime. I wanted a deluxe Prime in scale to that jerk Sentinel. I ended up using Battle Begins Optimus Prime. Now if they can release the mold in normal colours, I'l die happy.
