In Laval, PQ. Pretty good show and setlist, they played old favorites (including No more no more which I've always wanted to hear live since I became a fan) and 2 new songs from their forthcoming album due out in August (Oh Yeah + Legendary Child... which is actually an outtake from Get a Grip).

Geez I saw them in concert... back '93. It was a great show, but that was much closer to their prime. I haven't heard anything new from them.

I've seen them in 98 (Nine Lives tour) and 01 (Just Push Play tour) as well. Even got to shake hands with Tyler before the show in 01, that was a cool moment.

The odd thing with Aerosmith right now is that most of their last studio songs are all outtakes from the 80s-90s:

-Legendary child (new single): Get a grip outtake
-Feels so good (Tyler solo single last year): Oh Yeah outtake (then called Oxygen)
-Devil's got a new disguise (from the compilation of the same name): Get a grip outtake
-Sedona sunrise (also from the Devil's got a new disguise compilation): Pump outtake
-Lizard love (from the Rugrats go wild movie soundtrack): re-written Get a grip outtake

And for the new album, they were planning to re-record older outtakes but only Legendary child made it apparently.

So the release date for the new album is in August? I'll probably get it. Honestly haven't listened to them in a LONG time but im sure any music by them will hit a good nostalgic nerve.

    I totally agree with you.

I saw Guns 'N Roses a little while ago and was saddened by how old Axl Rose got and how he can barely sing. I don't think Tyler has the same problem, but still.....they're all old men, now....their prime has come and gone I think. Although I did see Metallica in 2010 (while heavily pregnant with my daughter.....who seemed to like the music, lol) and I loved it.....they sounded the same and I cried with how much I enjoyed it.

OP - I am glad that you had a good time xxxx

Judging the way you wrote your thread sounds like you had a pretty good time?

Did you have more than one picture?

Great pics. I'd love to see Aerosmith at some point. ACDC and Ozzy are high on the list too, need to see them before they croak...so I guess I'd better do it fast.

Not a huge fan, but I have nothing but major respects for them. They've been around for a long ass time and always kept it together. Tyler can sing like a madman. I don't know anyone who can copy him.

Saw them on the same tour, just in Fresno. O.....M.......F.......G. Angus can still play!!!!! 15 MINUTES of him preening up and down the stage playing his guitar. 8D
    LOVED that concert.
...then a month later my mom and I went and watched Kiss. Best year of my entire life.
