They shook you all night long?

I wanna see AC/DC but couldn't justify the £50 ticket cost last time they played.

I am starting to get into those classic rockers and AC/DC is one of them. Definitely would not mind seeing them live.

AC/DC is amazing. I don't have any of their albums. But I'll listen to them on the radio and 'Thunderstruck' gets me every time. I also know how to play the opening riff of Thunderstruck. PM me if you want to know.

I think Thunderstruck was the first hammeron / pulloff riff I learned back in middle school... something like 04070407040704070 05080508050805080 on the E string.

That's the awesome thing about AC/DC... a beginning guitarist can play most of the stuff, but capturing the right sound and energy is nearly impossible. We used to play Long Way to the Top at nearly every show we did. Great stuff.

Holy hell, that was nearly 20 years ago... ouch.

Nice. They are coming to Des Moines later this month, but the show is already sold out. Has been for a while now. Plus, I couldn't justify paying so much for a ticket. I recently got to see Shinedown in concert and that was pretty cool. I'm not much of a concert goer, but it's fun from time to time.

If I had to go see a bunch of senior citizens dance around on stage, I'd choose AC/DC any day.

Cool you went to the show, lucky bastod.

Who made who's was always my fav.
Wish they'd re-record that album with a fresh set of machines.

No doubt, I am jealous. I would love a chance to of seen them live. But I swear, they don't come near here enough. I can just imagine being right in front of the stage listening to Thunderstruck...shit, I lost it... WHY!?!

Oh, did they play Big Gun? I gotta know if they still play that.

Dang, that'd be a helluva concert to go to. They'd better be still alive within the next five years so I can go see them :D

Awesome man! They're at the top of my "Have to see in concert before they die" list alongside Ozzy.

Edit: D_C, you better get tested to be sure they didn't give you The Jack.

I hope I have half the energy Angus has when I'm his age. He was the show. Saw them live for the first time back last October. It was a crazy experience. Did the giant inflatable Rosie come out riding the train? That part was simply bizarre. :sly:  :lol

That's awesome. As much I love their albums, I don't think I could bring myself to see them. I just find something depressing about these old Rockers playing their shows.

They played Big Gun, Whole Lot of Rosie, Shook me all Night Long, Thunderstruck, Dirty Deeds, Who made Who, I can't even remember what else.

We had GREAT seats, we were right in front of the stage about 10 or 15 rows back. I could feel the heat from the pyrotechnics.

Yes, Rosie rode the train, I can't believe how spry Angus Young is for a guy his age, he was running around and jumping everywhere like a freakin' mad man - he's my mom's age for god's sake!!!
