I have noticed that when I get a new figure and it has Silver or Gold plated chrome parts (like Star Convoy) I tend to pull said parts off, and dip them in Future Floor Polish to preserve them and then put them back together. Am I the only person to do this?

I wouldn't put them in floor polish. If your paranoid the chrome will rub off (which it only will if you play with it) then use clear coat like some people do on the chrome on custom cars and choppers.

Future is liquid acrylic, much like any other clear coat. REDLINE swears by the stuff, so it can't be too bad.

Future Floor Polish is a very very clear, hard and durable acrylic. I use it all the time !!
